I think I'm being clear enough in what I'm saying. NOT making Cerberus a bunch of faceless, comically evil bullet fodder makes for a better story. They had a basis for this in Invasion. To make Petrovsky a moustache-twirling villian would require a retcon of his previously-established character.

Or, that it's a change of character based on the time spent, or because, like TIM, he was acting reasonable to pull the wool over Aria's eyes (which would be a smart thing)

It's also possible he's unaware that his men are executing civilans.  But I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he had to turn to extreme measures to try and bring Omega under control.  A fair hand won't help him control Omega.

Why control Omega, and why is there  a relay being blown up in there?

I kinda miss Omega and all the other places you can just freely visit in between missions. Kinda wish we had more than the Citedal to free roam in ME3..

I loved the trailer. I was always a fan of space battles. Also the music was really nice!

"Shoot the indoctrinated cerbderps!" is a less intriguing story than Shepard being torn between an ally whose ruthlessness calls her value into question, and an enemy displaying more honor than those he fights beside. I'd ideally hope to be able to choose between them.

They can make any excuses they want to reduce Petrovsky to a soulless target. I'd rather they didn't.

odds are you will have to choose between Aria and Nyreen. but that is just a guess. I have no doubt that the general will show honor and such, but in the end he will prob die.

but hey...speculations...

I wonder how Aria got Shep to help her retake Omega, I'm thinking blackmail or drugging and kidnapping Shep because I doubt a Paragon Shep would help Aria willingly.
A Renegade Shep would have volunteered because of the 1:31 scene in the trailer.

It wouldn't be an excuse, it would be a logical progression of character.

An otherwise fair and somewhat honest general finds himself forced to resort to extreme measures to control a station full of thugs, crooks, and pirates because they will not respect his authority and refuse to comply. He discovers his usual stern, but even-handedness simply doesn't work on the denizens of the Terminus.

1:31 in the trailer Shep and Aria about to kiss.
Also notice the Normandy isn't in the trailer

The Normandy isn't in the DLC, neither are any of your crew. It's just Shepard, Aria, Nyreen and some bullsh*t reason to avoid recording lines for other characters, against Cerberus, for a whole DLC.

Not my cup of tea since I play Mass Effect, or used to, for the characters you can interact with, but hey-ho, don't have to buy it.

What! no Garrus (Space Batman) with Nyreen(Space Catwoman) from Omega wih love romance noooo. Seriously Archangel should play a role in retaking Omega.

I hope you can reason with him, though. He would be a very valuable ally.

at the end of ME Invasion he was starting to doubt TIM.

That's what I'm saying. It'a very strong possibility and I hope they implement it.

This is what I have been waiting for since waaaaaaay before ME3 was a twinkle in our eyes, after reading invasion and seeing what that Cerberus General did to Aria I have always wanted to go after that guy. "you don't do my Shepard's lady like that and stay alive pal" lol. YOU A DEAD MAN PETRO OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS!!!!

His name is Oleg Petrovsky, and I have to disagree with you on this. As much as I like Aria and want to get Omega back for her, I like Oleg just as much and would love it if I could make him an ally.

Hi Revan Image IPB

Aria will be ruling Omega for centuries to come, and thus possibly make an appearance in ME4-?.

From what I've gather in terms of info our Turian female seems to be either running the Talon merc group or is a high ranking member. There will be a choice of who get's to rule Omega afterwards either her or Aria. So wouldn't get my hopes up just yet of her returning in ME4.

True, but I only said it was possible. Even then, Aria will be alive long after Nyreen has passed on.

I'm actually very excited about this dlc, unlike Leviathan. Although, I just bought Leviathan the other day and wish that I had got it sooner. I actually enjoyed it.

Taking another look at the video, at 1:18 there Aria and Shep seem to jumping into an escape pod.  Any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind, clearly at 00:40 Shep is jumping out of the crashed escape pod (on Omega).  Seems like whatever plan they had doesn't start off too well.

Clearly because Omega has a big laser gun on it.  Plus naked Aria = at least 1000 EMS.

:P
