Explosions, melodrama, familiar scenery ... and still very, very little indicated reason to actually take on Omega at this juncture. Looks like fun, but ...

A lot of people like the trailer, but to be honest I find it pretty underwhelming. Nothing really there but shoot em up action. Which is okay, but I was hoping to see something else. Well we did get one scene. Nyreen...Aria. Kind of reminds me of Shepard...Wrex.

Anyway the only thing I'm curious about is how does Aria gets Shepard away from fighting the war and risking his/her life to take back Omega, which in the big scheme of things seems largely unimportant. I hope they have a decent reason for Omega being important instead of Shepard helping take it back because Aria asked.

I knew the name of her voic-actor, just like I know everyone's voice-actor in Mass Effect from memory, just never made the connection. 

Took me a similar amount of time to figure out Keith David was the convention breaking obligatory black guy who actually survived through until the end of the original The Thing.

I just hope that the music is as grand and loud in the game as it was in the trailer.

I could put up with a mediocre reason for helping aria with omega, what really bothers me it's spending 3-5 hours there and 2? in priority: earth. if there's ever going to be a DLC expanding priority earth (i hope so) it should have come first, IMO

It's a side mission that will provide addtional war assets (which Shepard does need). Do you feel the same about the other side missions that are originally in the game? Shepard risks his life in some of those also.

every war asset beyond 3100 is useless.

Well, from a non-metagaming, RP perspective, Shep would want everything she could get before going after the Reapers on Earth.

Not saying you don't have a point, but a reason for doing it does exist, even if your Shep dislikes Aria.
