War Asset = Military strength to help fight the Reapers

And that help will change anything ?
Different colour at the end ?
Different war assets cinematics ?
Anything ?

I DON'T THINK SO.

Or you can just enjoy the DLC. Jesus Christ, I'm so tired of people complaining of how this won't affect the rest of the game or it's just more dumb war assets. Believe it or not, LotSB, one of the best DLCs of all time imo, from ME2 had NO AFFECT on the story of ME2.

If you get Omega, just enjoy it. You may finish it as a happier person.

I'm excited too, but lets not get ahead of ourselves lol

That's the thing, I'm not excited.

I already know the payoff is gonna be terrible.

Well hopefully you, and many other BSN users are pleasantly suprised.

EDIT: I'm not going in with many expectations except more *pew pew,* but the fact is I've been interested in how this story turns out since ME3 was released.  So I will buy it.  I hope it turns out good, but I'm not expecting a world changing DLC.

I'm not buying it day one.

Not being snarky about it. Lol I traded in my ME3 copy and I'm waiting for the trilogy to come out for the PS3.

Except at this point even a moderately thorough player doesn't need more assets. So Omega becomes hours of helping a character I don't like save a place I don't care for from a character I do like that has been derailed.

Don't buy it if you don't care for it.

....

No! We must let Bioware know we are not buying their products! We must complain and make them want to cry so we can feel validated!

the truth is not buying is not always a good solution. in my case, I do want to buy their products, and I don't have any else to buy ME3 DLCs from, so I'd rather try to state my preferences. This is not the place to go into any details about this, but hirschman theory about exit/voice strategies explains this kind of situation perfectly. people does not always complain just for the hell of it.

this said, I might not even be a good example, i might buy it in the future, so far I've only decide not to buy it right away

I understand you and believe me when I say this, I would of bought all of ME3 DLCs if it wasn't for the game itself, which let me down in too many places.  I truly want to purchase their DLC, but Leviathan and Omega will not convince me to play ME3 and more importantly, the trilogy itself again.  As I stated, if they wow'ed me with a meaningful ME2 related DLC, that wasn't just half-assed, then by all means, I'd be able to play again and I'd pick up the rest of the DLC, but as of right not, there is no news concerning something like that and I personally don't see them doing it.  I also understand that they can't please everyone, so hopefully I'm not out of luck, but only Bioware knows till they offically state there will be no more DLC.

This was my favourite series and you don't even know how much I'd love to get back into that spark I had with ME1 and 2... :crying:

What? Does he mean Aria? Because if so, then bwahahahaha. Good one. TIM is leagues above Aria in just about every aspect.

Hear Hear.
Do we really need to kiss Aria's ass so much? Wasn't being her b*tch in ME3 enough?

"Need"? You do realize that this potential kiss is only for people who want it right?
Man, people are so thick.

DLC looks really cool. I want to see more of Nyreen.

Oh I love this argument...LotSB was DLC for mass effect 2. Okay Mass Effect 2 wasn't the conclusion to the story. We all knew Mass Effect 3 was coming. Even if mass effect 2 ended as vague as Mass Effect 3 people would have been more opened to wait and see what happens.  Now, everything already happened, Omega is just a waste of time in the grand scheme of things.  Nothing will be altered, Mass Effect 3 is the end of Shepard's trilogy...thats it complete...finish..
DLC like this is just to suck dry the pockets of all the great fans mass effect has/had.  This series has amazing fans and they deserve to be treated better.

Badass trailer. Doesn't change how I feel about the whole, but it should be a nice diversion. I still don't think the game deserves any GotY awards after the entire ending debacle.

No, the DLC is made so that the fans have more Mass Effect to enjoy while at the same time making profit. I don't see why ME3 dlc needs to have huge affects on everything just because it is the last enstallment, nor do I understand why that alone would stop you from enjoying the story being told.

Believe me, I WANT to be proven wrong here. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm not thrilled about working with Aria. Is a Colonist Shepard, whose family was slaughtered by slavers, supposed to find Aria's speech about the "lawless of the galaxy" inspiring?

She's not supposed to be inspiring you, she's supposed to be inspiring the people there.

I'm really excited for this DLC. Aria's Speech reminded me of the Shepard speeches that I loved so much from the previous games. ME3's? Not so much.

Also, this music! My god! I got Suicide Mission vibes from that!

And, Aria's possible kiss. Maybe there is an Aria Romance and Bioware is trying to throw fans off their game or something like Bethesda did with Werewolves in Skyrim? Who knows but I could settle for a kiss.

And, I'd imagine that there's a way to screw Aria over. Based on the (not-always-reliable mind you) interviews, The DLC is about how much you're willing to support Aria in taking back Omega. Notice that they don't purely say "Liberate Omega from Cerberus".

She might as well be trying to inspire Shepard because without him/her, she wouldn't take Omega back.

lol

aria's kiss..........Mike Gamble from his commentary said that it's not a Real Romance...it's just a peck.
Anyway, this DLC has nothing the fans asked.

no omega hub
no permanent squadmate from Aria
No other Squadmates like Wrex, Zaeed, Jack etc......

where's the replay value? You go ahead Lance and pay $15. Then come tell me if you found it to be of Worth. I'll wait to see if Bioware will answer my Request of More Wrex, Zaeed, Grunt, etc...

As I said, Bethesda kept werewolves in Skyrim a secret and activly denied them being in game and suggesting they could possibly but unlikely be in a future DLC.

Lying/Trolling Creators but in a positive way.
