IT is basically Harold Camping, the guy who claimed to know the date for the end of the world by reading patterns in the bible. When the date came and went, he found yet another date. When that came and went, well you get the idea.

We have till the end of the DLC cycle. Then I am pretty sure many will be angry but a few devotees will remain. OP will for sure.

But if ME4 comes out to be a prequel or a sequel (that has a totally different story and no reaper war) odds are the OP will conceed.

I, personally wouldn't believe in something this 'elaborate' till ME4. That is a bit much. Just imagine how disappointed you would feel if you honestly believed that something awesome was coming and you waited and waited for it, then it just never came - ever. I would be enraged.

Spoken like someone who doesnt know squat about the theory but will happily write it off as garbage.

I totally do agree with this. I actually tried to play some ME3 SP last night and just struggle through the citadel mission. And it sucks because now if I play ME1 and 2 I get to the great parts like Soveriegn Convo, Save Council, Save Rachni, Collector base, and I just say to myself "all this for the colored explosions". It really does suck and makes me a sad volus.

EC endings are very separate from each other now and then there are the slides and the additional cutscenes with voiced narrative. Not to mention the unique music for each ending. Most RPG's don't come even close to that much content endings-wise. Sorry but "all this for the colored explosions" stopped being an appropriate definition for ME 3 ending last summer.

Yeah, to be honest I can't imagine them waiting until ME4. I consider it possible, but not likely.

Really? No matter what all of the consequenses to your choices get melted down and funneled into a neato bit of EMS.

Save the Collector base in ME2? 10 moar EMS

You make all these choices for the primary goal of stopping/defeating the reapers. Then out of no where the end-o-tron 3000 comes and tells you to pick a color.

Your choices are then rendered null. Nothing matters so long as you get a set #. If biowaer wanted to do it right they would have had your actual choices dictate the explosion/end of the reaper war. but...no.

If there is an expansion I highly doubt the reapers will be killed. The protheans were more advanced than we are and their war lasted centuries. At best we'll reclaim Earth.
