I played a sword and shield dwarf but it got kind of boring and I always ended up playing other characters. :S
So here's what I would like:

- Not a support class (so not a tank or healer or w/e).
- Has a lot of diversity in skills, so you don't always spam the same thing. I would like to only play that character and not end up switching all the time.
- Moderate difficulty. I'm kind of a beginner so I play on normal difficulty.
- Does not get boring. I'm aware its subjective but hey im asking for your opinion anways ^^
- Idc if melee or ranged.

Summary: I just want to do a bunch of cool things with a bunch of cool people.

I was thinking maybe a human noble rogue?

So what do you think draogn age experts?  thank you!

I'd say try a human warrior dual wielder. That way you'll be spamming a lot of talents, in place of just one. It's still spamming, but there it is.

Dual wielding female elf rogue. Immerse yourself in the story and moment and become the hyper crazed revenge weasel of your dreams.

Dwarf commoner rogues are a lot of fun as well.

Arcane warrior + Blood magic gives you both diversity & survivability,
next on the list also dual wield

Thanks for your answers!

I think I'm going to make a city elf female DW rogue. I extremely rarely play rogues so this is going to be fun ^_^

Is it possible to make her use poison and traps in her fighting styles AND make her a good lockpicker while still doing good damage? I dont know much about rogues so I was wondering.

Thanks again.

@mousestalker /) (couldn't resist xD)

I'm going to second using an Arcane Warrior + Blood Mage combination. It's a bit of a challenge in micro-management to use well, but it can become a very powerful and dangerous build.

But a dual-wielding Rogue is a good choice, too. Lots of variation in what skills to focus on. A Rogue also gets a new skill every two levels, instead of three, which easily allows mastery of at least 3 different skills. A high dexterity or cunning will help you a lot. Go with high cunning if you decide to focus on back-stabbing and want to get the Assassin specialization. Maybe increase your stealth, too, and get trap-making for a different kind of tactical gameplay.

Behold! The only guides you'll ever need! ;)

- At the the wiki
- Character Build Handbook
- DPS Calculations for a dual-wield Rogue
- Explanation of mechanics like Stealth, Stealing, and Lockpicking (the Warden having at least a point in steal opens up quests from Slim Couldry, which are fun)
- There's also a new thread about making a new Rogue character, which may be of value to you

Have fun!
