A friend and I are playing FBW/Gold Hazard (we're both Australian) and we're talking the usual crap that we do and some American pipes up. He confidently says we're British which gave a burst of laughter from both of us. My friend says some expletive deletives and insults his intelligence. I calmly say "We're not British mate". Emphasis on the 'mate' because we all apparently say that. Needless to say he didn't say much after that and I think we wiped some time later.
Another time play as a Kroguard with the same friend, there was also another Asari. Muck around I start meleeing my friend and the Asari joins in. Me quoting the Krogan shaman from ME2 (well slightly changed) "I like this Asari, she understands!" Got a smirk from me and laughter from my friend.
Yeah I'm that boring....
To someone that doesn't hear the two accents all the time, yes, Australian can be mistaken for British. Was it really necessary to insult him?
