Can we ****slap Aria?

There's a "boss fight" at the end but now where near Tela or Shadow Broker quality.

Going through as my Vanguard first, Dark Channel + Flare + Biotic Charge + Nova = No use for guns.

Yeah, there's a couple. A creepy monster thing, and then in the general's room you have to hit 4 computer screens and then shoot out a mechanism that has Aria trapped after she.. um... jumps into the centre of a trap.

Sounds like things on Aria's couch are quite impressive. We must find this couch at all costs and make sure it is protected. It will not only save omega, but it will be a great souvenir for shepard's bedroom on the normandy. Imagine cuddle time with love interests on Aria's couch.

I bet there is some kind of hidden ability that the couch has that makes it significant. Maybe we should try loading up the Thanix cannons with it and firing it at Harbinger just to see what happens. Might have made for a better ending.

No, no,no. That will only stun the mighty harbinger. You mustn't shoot the couch because the couch does the shooting. Its Aria's secret weapon. Its why when she fights to take back Omega. The couch is so comfortable that even Harbinger will be pulled towards its gravity of softness and have to sit forever in its soft cushined embrace.

Spoilers, obviously.

Top comment is hilarious "3 minutes of dialogue and only one conversation wheel. Man I miss Mass Effect 2's system."

This DLC wasn't worth it. Gonna make a comprehensive pros and cons list in a second to show why

In all seriousness, I had to force myself to have Shepard say "Allright." rather than "No thanks." In reality, I wanted an option to punch him. People are dying, the Reapers are destroying the galaxy, Cerberus is doing everything in its power to hold onto Omega, and you want me to find you a sofa?

Yes, because Shepard has assumed directed control in ME 3 in his Bipolar wheeling. B)

You missed theact fact here that cerberus being ageistthe reaper is still not in favor of our side. Remeber, we did not attack cerberus first, they attacked us.

Cerberus wants to stop the reapers on way, we want to do it another way and cerberus wants to force us to do it their way.

The problem is not with the allied forces. It's with cerberus. We can;t help that it;s a two front war. Cerberus is forcing this to be a two front war.

In a galaxy where we are mending century long grudges, One would think we could try and use the common ground we to gain more to the cause of not being assimilated.

The Alliance could also continue doing defensive engagements only. Until Thessia we have no real reason to actively seek them out. And if we are playing this after Thessia, then that should be Shepard's top priority anyway as they have vital information on the Catalyst. In Omega, not so much the case.

I bet that probably would have been very satifying. However, this couch meme isn't going away anytime soon. So it wasn't a renegade option?:?

Wow what a huge let down. I was so hyped for this DLC but now I need to say that Leviathan was way better than Omega. In Leviathan I was really curious what I will find at the end and here I was just running through endless corridos shooting Cerberus troops. I also was hoping for more dialogs.
At least they didn't kill Petrovsky at the end so that's a plus.

Kasumi Stolen Memory cost 7 bucks. We get to KEEP her.

Omega DLC cost 15 bucks. We dont get to keep anyone.

Rip. Off.

I had been planning on getting it day one (the 28th since PS3 and Europe) but since people say it's not significantly longer or better than past ME DLCs, I think I'm going to wait for a sale. Doesn't sound to be worth 15$, especially knowing ME1 is coming in December for that same price.

1. The alliance were well trying to seek them out. They only made it a top priority becauseof the results of thessia.
2.The problem here is that there was not common ground. WIth TIM it was everhis way or no way. Cerberus liturally is trying to force the galexy to do things there way. It's not the fault ofthe alliance not finding common ground. It's just cerberus absolute think that's causing this. The only flaw the alliance did was help make the organization in the first place.

So, is Aria's couch in Purgatory just empty after the DLC?

No, she still sits there claiming it's easier to coordinate from there.  There's one new dialog option.

She ... she stays on the Citadel after retaking Omega?

Yeah, definitely waiting for a sale on this one. BioWare, if you're going to charge ~210% above the norm, your consumer base is going to want at least ~150% above average, and we'd still technically be getting a bad shake. This DLC looks only slightly better than Leviathan to me. No deal.

The ONLY thing it does better than Leviathan is combat scenarios, and if that's your thing then multiplayer is right there.

"I hate this place.  I need my station."

... (post Omega) ...

"I think I'll stay and operate my newly-reclaimed station from the place that I hate."

I can't get over that. She just sits on the citadel couch in purgatory like nothing's ever happened. Why doesn't she vidlink you from the citadel after you finish omega? So lazy.

I don't know, for 15 bucks, wouldn't of it been more smarter to be more story driven or even character driven DLC, compared to the action, especially because of what the series is. Most of the complaints I've seen are related to the more action vibe. I guess it's nice to try to strike for that "balance", but I'm assuming from a lot of people here, it didn't work?
