Yeah, definitely waiting for a sale on this one. BioWare, if you're going to charge ~210% above the norm, your consumer base is going to want at least ~150% above average, and we'd still technically be getting a bad shake. This DLC looks only slightly better than Leviathan to me. No deal.

The ONLY thing it does better than Leviathan is combat scenarios, and if that's your thing then multiplayer is right there.

I like ME3's combat but I can't do the multiplayer thing for long. I only totally enjoy things when Shepard's my character. I'm sure I'll get some fun from things once I can nab this for ten or less. I watched a couple of early-Omega vids; it looks pretty and seems to play nicely, but man, those kinds of boons and little care to story doesn't exactly convince me that Montreal does just as good a job of things as Edmonton...

Sounds more like bw was lazy about that.

Lotsb was also heavily combat based.

Probably more to do with her having to be there to do the Citadel quests if you haven't already.

If this is really the case then ME would have died after ME1 just based on the complaints from the inventory system and the Mako.

Fairly certain this game never sold on those two features alone. Also pretty sure people didn't tell their friends "The Inventory system is the ****ing **** man, best thing about the game".

I remember telling my friends that the game makes the story feel like your own. And that Garrus is super cute.

If ME3 was really bad as the few say then ME3 wouldn't have sold millions of copies after the release of ME3.  Some people will always complain and thats nothing new even if its on the Interenet associated with a Bioware game.

Because everyone knew exactly what it was like before they bought it.

She should vidlink you from Omega to the citadel. It just seems bizarre.
I meant lazy on the part of Bioware.

Again, the combat felt fresh from what ME2 offered, that was the exciting part.  Also, the story kicked ass for the most part, even though I didn't really care enough Liara wanting to become the Shadow Broker.  I was intrigued by who or what the Shadow Broker was, plus the combat banter was excellent and the background information on the current squadmates was a small touch, but oh boy, did it bring up a lot of questions.  Funny how it works out that way, compared to Omega.

Hey remember when we already got 2 DLC's where we got to keep new squadmates before LotSB? And remember how LotSB weas simply to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3 where it was obvious we were getting Liara for ME3?

Plop an underling on the couch, or place a video monitor somewhere to communicate with Aria (and retain the audio dialogue).

It seemed to have more storytelling meat on its bones, though. I mean, all the DLCs are heavily combat-based in the sense that there's a great deal of combat, but what separates the greats from the lesser pieces is a driving, intriguing narrative. That's why I enjoy Lair, Overlord and Leviathan so much.

I know I'll enjoy Omega once its price point is more compelling. It's just that as it stands, it appears less intriguing than those three and for a higher price. I'd call it better than Arrival from what I've seen, definitely, but Arrival wasn't $15. D:

So? Is Liara still on Illum after the sb dlc? And She had missions before the dlc came out.

Nope. Sorry. You are moving the goal posts.

You are ****ing about Aria and Nyreena not being perma squadmates (and the pricetag) when LotSB pulled the exact same **** back in the day. Higher pricetag and everything.

Have to say, kind of disapointed with this one. I really liked Leviathan but this one was way too sho and so little interaction with everyone. Too much money for too little product.

To be fair everyone won't be pleased and nobody should expect otherwise.

I'm pretty sure you got Kasumi's Stolen Memory on sale because its normally $10.  Either way its useless to complain about an added squadmate when you look at Bringing down the Sky/Pinnacle Station with ME1, Project Overlord/LotSB/Arrival with ME2, and Leviathan/Omega with ME3.

The same could be said about every game when the Internet complains and its still a bad move to use a strawman.

Your squadmates do during the mission, but my Shepard hasn't gotten any after completion. She's an infiltrator, maybe you have to be a vanguard? Idk.

Yeah, the $15 price point is ridiculous for what Omega sounds like it provides.

I'm holding off for now as well.

Although, does stuff ever go "on sale" in the Xbox marketplace?

Agreed. The Shadow Broker story line was a key part of the story, even from the very beginning of ME1.  I'm curious if Omega is just a venue to shoot more cerberus baddies and doesn't incorporate its ME2 story (what little existed) into it.
