I personally have very fond memories of the "Retake the Inventory" movement. The Night Mammoth wrote...

There has always been a backlash associated with ME as a series or any game that appears on the Internet.
So you're saying the backlash wasn't unprecedented?

A couple of ok ones. One involves sacrificing patients on life support to let you access the General. The other is to let him live or die.

Not for the DLC, but because Manveer tweeted sumthing earlier today abt how the core team that made this omega dlc is the same core team that will be working on "ME4".
Hmm...idk...I will read some more of this thread.

No one big. Harrot (spelling? He's the Elcor shop owner of the store on the second floor of Omega), and the Batarian Mad Prophet. They're both funny cameos, but nothing mind-shattering.HYR 2.0 wrote...

The question I would ask is if this DLC doesn't sell according to Bioware's / EA's expectations does that mean that we could be looking at a premature death to the ME 3 DLC cycle (a la DA 2)?

Honestly? Nothing to do with the story aspects of ME3. I'm going with the different combat experiences through the new enemies, new powers, and new weapons given.Cstaf wrote...
I've got a question. So far i've read mostly negative things about the DLC. But Bioware obviously thought that they were offering something special in this DLC that justifies the increased price of this DLC. In your opinion, what is in this DLC that justifies this price increase?

Possibly. Part of me is worried that the $15 pricetag is because ME3 isn't selling as well as Bioware/EA had hoped, because the material within this DLC is well below that of Lair of the Shadow Brokers. I'd say the material found is comparable to Leviathan, with no relevance to the overall plot.Vortex13 wrote...
A lot of negitive reviews from what I've seen.

That being said, Aria was fantastic in the DLC and I enjoyed participating in the missions with her.
The DLC was increased in price because it was quite long. Took a few hours on casual to explore and do everything, would be even longer on Insanity.

That's a shame. The combat have always been the least favourite part of Mass effect 2-3 for me. Thankfully i am getting Mass effect 1 next week (Late to the party due to being PS3 owner) and i've heard it has less focus on combat.

I'm really afraid of this, but I can see this selling well at all.
I don't want ME3 to end with Omega.

You are on the BSN so read the "negatives" assume that half of what they say is true and then assume they are 5% the total population to get the actual perspective on their reviews.
I do not know why it is so pricey to be honest. I don't think it is bad at all. It isn't LoTSB greatness either. I will say that while I loved LoTSB there wasn't a lot of replay value. This feels like it will have more replay value because your choices are a bit more contrasting and they also seem to matter more than in LoTSB.

I don't think this will have a problem selling at all. It's not unworthy of the price compared to a lot of DLC out there for some games. I would say this DLC ranks as just average when you consider most of the disappointment stems from the hype we had around it.
Except Aria/Omega isn't going to lure fans to want to play again, they are liked but aren't fan favorites at all. The dlc doesn't give us a new squad. Doesn't give us a new hub. Doesn't change/add to the plot. Don't let us use our old squad. Don't let Aria/fem!Turian fans romance/f*ck them. And is expensive.
