From what i've gathered in this thread, which i know is not a representative sample, the DLC is around 2.5-3 hours long. I've played all other ME2-3 DLC's and never did timed how long they were but, are the other DLC's really shorter than 2.5-3 hours?

I have not played any of the ME3 DLC aside from a modded EC, but for ME2's story DLC, I tended to clock in around 2 hours per DLC, maybe slightly longer for Lair of the Shadow Broker and shorter for Overlord.  I'm a fairly thorough gamer, usually play on at least Hardcore difficulty, don't skip any dialogue, do all the side stuff, etc.  Arrival FEELS longer, but IMO that's just because it's not as good as the other DLC.

In terms of strictly time, if Omega's around 1 hour longer and costs 50% more than the previous DLC, I suppose it makes sense.  But in terms of content, squaddie DLC had a lot more wrapped up in it because you could use the DLC in the rest of your game, not just in a mission or two, as did Lair of the Shadow Broker for offering an evolving base you could revisit.

Whats the point in giving more assets? Not like we need any more.Overall it was a bust. Just another Cerberus shooting session. As expected.

Thanks everyone... my take away is... it's not worth $15. Sorry you all had to spend it, but thanks for the feed back. I'll wait until it's on sale or something. Leviathan's price for just a DLC I thought was on the border, but acceptable. But $15 - considering how you can buy the entire trilogy for no more than $60.

Just finished Omega, and all I could say is that it could have been better. There were some really nice moments like seeing Omega all over again, being back in that downtrodden Blade-Runner-esque world. However, most of it wasn't as exploratory or exciting as I thought it would be. They could have added a vehicle sequence.

All i can say is, i heard there is no Collector Assault Rifle, and no "car chase scene". As in they didn't try anything unique with gameplay. That already ruins any incentive i have to play.

It's not a bad DLC, but...

It's not overly long (despite PR telling it's the longest so far), and felt lacking, it adds nothing significant to the ME lore. Many buggy cutscenes, no memorable soundtrack. It's no LotSB, by far not, and I enjoyed Leviathan and Overlord more then this. However, given the very same team made Arrival apparently, it's at least a step up.

Then again it has no major flaws, some of the levels are nicely crafted, and I liked Nyreen. I hope female turians are a regular addition from now on in future ME games.

For half the price I'd recommend it to enyone who liked the ME3 gameplay and wants more of this. But 15$? No, I'd say wait for a sale.

"The Cerberus occupation is an illegal action." You get this if you accuse Nyrene of being a potential spy, maybe even if you pick the Paragon path there I dunno.

Tell me something Bioware, what ****ing game was I playing in ME2? Because unless the entire universe has just collapsed on itself we are clearly and at many points told that there is no law on Omega!

Lots of Moan in this thread. Reminds me of Leviathan.

That was 1.97GB ? felt shorter than Leviathan.

Infact I think I prefere Leviathan to Omega.

I loved it! Thought it was awesome.

Expected to see everybody here ****ing & moaning & complaining about it. You guys have nothing good to say about anything. You hate everything & that's why this world sucks so badly. Nice job making life miserable for everybody. You're doing a great job! Keep on hating! It's what you're best at.

For the money it cost i expected it to last WAY longer or at least give me a new Hub after i'm finished. With a second Hub and some fun stuff to do on Omega i might not have felt as scammed as a i do right now. Seriously why did this cost 12€ . ??

Well, I for one liked it very much. I really enjoyed the characters, dialogue, combat, music, level design, throwbacks to ME2, length, the fact that you can somewhat influence Aria's character, and so on. However I do still feel that $15 is overpriced for what it is. I understand that it's longer than the other DLC, but I still would have put it at $10.

New stuff to put in my cabin + new powers though! And oh, good to know that the cutscene glitches happened for everyone. Thought it was my game bugging out.

Seeing as you're one of the few here to have enjoyed Omega, why not tell us what you liked. From what I can gather, this latest DLC is a bunch of kill rooms tacked together with the now obligatory action cut scenes. What does Omega do well?

I am glad that there are others that found it worth the time and money but I will not be one of them.

Good for you!  Who cares?  Exactly NOBODY. Your opinion is nothing.

There is a special hell awaiting the person who wrote Nyreen's extremely contrived and unnecessary death.

ME3's theme was sacrifice. Contrived sacrifice.

I know it may be hard to swallow, but the BSn is probably the only place I've been to today that hates Omega. I think I'll chill at those other places for awhile.

I've no intention of supporting the IP with any more of my money, but would like to hear why people enjoyed Omega. What does it do well?
