Why do you do this to yourself?

It hurts to see others get their hopes up so much, just to get it shot down in the end. You should know to keep those expectations low.

I mean, I wasn't expecting anything major. But c'mon....

It's really just that simple?

Take back the scum-infested Omega for really no reason whatsoever other than because Aria is homesick?

Completed on Insanity with Infiltrator using Black Widow and Venom Shotgun ~2 and half hours

Nyreen was developed into a good character

Adjutants are bulky but seemed easy to dodge and kill

Aria still crazy as ever

Mods from MP now in SP

Valkyrie now available w/o preorder

cool objective sequences

way to short for my liking

overall 7.5/10

But... did you do even the sidequests? there are sidequests?? Image IPB

Unless those side quests open up later, then no. I only came across 3 fetch quests playing the DLC and that was the extent of it. You don't even open Omega up as a Hub after you are finished. As far as I can tell, you cannot return.

REALLY!?

So that's it? Nothing to add to the overall plot? No hidden Cerberus tech or reveals?

REALLY!?

There is stuff they add but they go into very little detail about it, dont want to say, even though this is a spoiler board, so people can get a chance to discover it. It is really fun though, some parts are challenging, but Insanity is really not all that hard to begin with. There are long sequences where Nyreen isn't in your party, which i feel is a massive mistake. No bugs i found, polished, but felt lacking and made me want just a little more. Last 5 minutes felt incredibly rushed and lacking (like the actual ending of the game) but it is a really good DLC, only compaints are really length, all other stuff would be fixed/better if it was only longer

Damn, I bought every single ME2 and ME3 DLC so far (except stupid weapon and armor packs)... Not sure I will buy Omega now if the plot is about killing a russian guy and cerberus troops...

Did you get the achievement for these fetch quests?

you get lash and flare from aria, pretty sure you dont get nyreen's bonus power

That's somewhat lame.

Did the DLC feel like it was worth 5 more dollars to you? Was anything about it exceptional or at least above average? Production values, plot, gameplay, etc.

it did feel like it warrented extra, it was really good and polished gameplay wise, but the story was rushed, would've bveen so much more satisfied if there was just a little more. The DLC fell short in key areas, mainly length and character development to be amazing, but it is a really good add-on and i think it was money well spent

The same quality as the vanilla game. Quite high. Still, I agree that this DLC was not worth the price of admission. Do not get me wrong, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it a lot. However, $15 is way too much for a DLC that was longer than Lair of the Shadow Broker, but falls in every area that LOTSB succeeded. I think this is the first DLC since Pinnicle Station that I have kind of regretted.

Only question I have, can you leave Omega in between each mission (similar to Leviathan), or does everything have to be done in one trip?

Plot, production values and the gameplay are great. Havent finished yet but apart from a couple of graphic bugs a+

And as for how long it is am not finished and been over 3 hours. The only way to get the short time would be skipping cut scenes - they are well made and acted so are must watch. The only issue I have is that its so well made, showing you what unrushed ME3 could have been. Also more cut scene dialogue like ME1/2 and far less of the glowey circle one sided stuff in most of main game.

So, why Cerberus was so interested in Omega? What about the Collector Base?

Do not take this the wrong way, but there isn't much plot to spoil. If you read the comics, you already know what to expect. Aria's been chased off of Omega, you help her take it back. On the way, you discover you need the help of the Talon gang that has filled the void that Shepard left after ME2. Nyreem turns out to be the leader, it turns out that Aria and Nyreem were once lovers. Adjutants show up a couple of times and Cerberus has been trying to create implants to control them. Nyreem later dies trying to save citizens from the adjutant threat, Aria gets mad, you finish off Petrovsky or save him for intel purposes.

@Saito: The comic already spoiled their interest. Aria had arrangements with Cerberus to let them use the Omega 4 Relay, TIM decided to cut out the middle man.

Aria is homesick, has shepard help her take back her home, run into one of Arias old friends, learn a little about her, fight your way through the station, and some one dies during taking the station back. The End

What really irritates me is that I figured with the DLC being larger than LOTSB, Omega might become a new hub. In the November 2011 leaks, it was revealled that there was supposed to be a mission after Omega where you went beyond the Omega 4 Relay again. I was hoping it would be back. Nope. You go to Omega and then leave, never to return.

I was never even given the option. She throws grenades and then uses her force field ability to lock herself in with the adjutants. My canon is a Renegade, however, which didn't blend well with Nyreem so there may be some conversational choices that influence your ability to save or kill her. If that is the case, that is pretty cool. Regardless, she clashed so much with Shepard that I hardly saw it as a loss. Hard to feel bad about her death when there was minimum character development.

Do I understand correctly? You can save Petrovsky?
