So, why Cerberus was so interested in Omega? What about the Collector Base?

Why cerberus is interested in omega is in the comic. What happened with the collector base is in the general plot already.

Do I understand correctly? You can save Petrovsky?

Yes sir or ma'am. 'Tis the Paragon option. You make an enemy out of Aria for doing it though. That is irrelevant anyway as there doesn't seem to be any post-Omega content. It nets you an additional 30 assets after the Alliance locks him up.

And there is no choice to save her? Oh man, people will be pissed.

We have many character in ME3 we can't save.  Live with it.

Do not take this the wrong way, but there isn't much plot to spoil. If you read the comics, you already know what to expect. Aria's been chased off of Omega, you help her take it back. On the way, you discover you need the help of the Talon gang that has filled the void that Shepard left after ME2. Nyreem turns out to be the leader, it turns out that Aria and Nyreem were once lovers. Adjutants show up a couple of times and Cerberus has been trying to create implants to control them. Nyreem later dies trying to save citizens from the adjutant threat, Aria gets mad, you finish off Petrovsky or save him for intel purposes.

@Saito: The comic already spoiled their interest. Aria had arrangements with Cerberus to let them use the Omega 4 Relay, TIM decided to cut out the middle man.

Thank you for the infos! :)

Curious, what is the War Asset number at the end?

Eh...I was very pumped for this but I think I'll pass for now, maybe buy it along with last SP story DLC. Definitely not getting it today as I planned.

I recall it added 400 War Assets, with an additional 30 for Oleg Petrovsky.

I was never even given the option. She throws grenades and then uses her force field ability to lock herself in with the adjutants. My canon is a Renegade, however, which didn't blend well with Nyreem so there may be some conversational choices that influence your ability to save or kill her. If that is the case, that is pretty cool. Regardless, she clashed so much with Shepard that I hardly saw it as a loss. Hard to feel bad about her death when there was minimum character development.

as in I was upset, I was given no choice what so ever

So as I said before, a DLC that's supposed on the same level as LotSB is not worth $15. $10 would have made more sense

Worst argument ever, be it a fan or dev making it.

I'm fine with them making side material. But if that material is required to understand something in a game they did it worng. The game has to at least cover the basics itself, and hope that it's enough to get the people playing to buy the extra stuff.

I thought it was overpriced, put it on sale today.

Download Hearthfire then.

I did, I could get 10 hours of content each playthrough with Hearthfire.
And for what? $5?  F**king ridiculous bargain.

Not as good as a bargain Dragonborn will be, but still good.

I love Hearthfire.  It's just fantastic and I consider it a great buy.  The armor mannekins and trophy stands are truly great fun.

As for this DLC, I too am looking to youtube to see what's what.

Not nearly as much in this DLC as I would have liked for $15. However, I have a feeling things may play out differently when I do a replay after class, which would explain the massive file size. Still not sure if the content justifies the price of admission.

Visually, you get to see much more of a sense of scale for Omega here than you ever did in ME2. I thought the combat was more interesting and fun than Leviathan. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete on Hardcore, so it's definitely not as lengthy as I'd have liked. However, it *felt* like longer than that, so take that as you will.

Grand question: is it worth $15? No. Unless you are DYING for more Aria content, in which case, go ahead. Or if you wanna splurge. It's definitely not a good value. For that price, I wanted more interaction with both Aria and Nyreen, more details on Aria's past, romance stuff, and a hub that I could visit after the mission was over, among other things. Considering what Awakenings was like for that price...yeah. Omega is nowhere in the ballpark of Awakenings. Not to mention Aria's grand speech was so glitched out I was laughing more than inspired.

All that said, though, I can't say I was disappointed per se. It was fun to go and kick ass with Aria, and like I said, the combat was fun (unlike Leviathan, where I wanted to poke my eyes out at the repetitiveness) and you're basically going full tilt from the time you land to the end.

Why would another character or person be a slave to your will?

Do not get me wrong, this is a good DLC. I enjoyed it and I will continue to do so when I play through the series again and again. However, the price tag is simply too high for what content was added. I only went with it because I figured this would raise the bar past LOTSB. It did not. Omega is not a new hub and there is no post-main quest content to be had. What side quests were there amounted to approximately three fetch quests, one of which, and I kid you not, was to find Aria's couch for the Elcor merchant from ME2.

Taking back Omega never sounded that special to me to begin with. It's not looking like it's worth the price tag either.

No but you learn about arias past romances, honestly the game assumes that you know all the lore from the other media which is huge mistake, i only knew what was going on and inferred a few things because i read up on the omega lore at the ME Wiki, something i shouldnt have to do to understand the story

Really helpful advice.  This DLC is yet another example of futility in a game where choices were supposed to matter.  What a joke.

I'd say it's LotSB-tier DLC, but not Awakenings-tier...which means it's overpriced.

How is that a bad argument? It's obviously explianed in the plot. If you don't want to put the effort to figure things out that's you own fault.
