Idon't see how shallow it is. It's a case of winning a key battle that would help in otherbatles ageint cerberus in the war.

I agree with dreman9999. The DLC only seems shallow because of how the series ends, which is not the fault of Omega. What Shepard stands to gain as a result of Omega makes perfect sense and its not like he/she knows how it will all end anyway. To the extent that is shallow is simply because BioWare slapped a price on it that was too high for what we got out of it.

The problem is it reinforces Cerberus as being more of a challenge than the reapers-you fight a lot more Cerberus troops already than you do actual reapers and yet the story was about getting to fight reapers.  So, because you can't actually do anything to fight actual reapers, Cerberus is a suitable foe to take on?  And gee, we do actually need more variants of Cerberus don't we?  Can't ever have enough of them.  Good thing everyone else is working on making a big space gun so Shepard has time to fight Cerberus so s/he can still go through the same run to the conduit (no matter what) and still get 3 choices as to how to screw the galaxy and/or die.  Good thing it's totally impossible to fight and beat reapers or else there'd be no time to fight more Cerberus.

How the series ends is the fault of all content BW releases.  Leviathan could have added something to the ending, Omega could, but since that's not what any ME3 DLC is about, this is pointless.  And you're right Shepard doesn't know how it will end, but Miranda continually came to Shepard to talk, but didn't want Shepard distracted and yet, the stuff Mirand was doing actually had something to do with reapers.

The organization stopping you from stopping the reapers is not a threat?

If I had to chose between hitting their home base, and helping clear them out of the Termminus, The home base is a more valueable target.

Especially when it clears the way to hit Earth.

So why Shepard? Hes a commander, shurely he can command someone to help Aria?

Aria explains that she knew she could not best Cerberus in naval combat, it had to be a ground assault. She wanted Shepard because she only hires the best. Can't say I disagree with her decision as Shepard seems to get results in the face of impossible odds.

So Shepard is a merc now?

Alliance is pretty lax with rules these days...

Whos running the normandy if shepard dies? Who will unite the Krogan? Who will jump into the beam?

Vega. Imagine a galaxy were everyone is part Vega. Tis a glorious thing.

So, is Aria's couch in Purgatory just empty after the DLC?

More room for wasty-Shep to sprawl out after a few rounds.

(we all know he's going to need a few drinks after 2.5-3 hours with aria)

I was hoping this DLC would be LoTSB quality. I hate being wrong.

According to a lot of people the DLC is short and doesn't justify the 15 dollar price tag. Well that sucks.

I wanna know 3 things.

1. Is it good?

2. How long did it take you to finish it, what difficulty/platform.

So guys stop spamming and please provide some useful info, actually.

It's okay.

2 and a half hours, easy, xbox 360.

I hope someone creates a signature banner or a fanclub for Aria's couch. It alone was worth the $15 price of admission. <_<

In all seriousness though, I almost missed the couch entirely. It looked more like a stack of three crates than a couch.

I'm pissed that you don't get to bring you squadmates along. Seeing how they react to working with Aria/Nyreen and their comments on Omega would have definitely made me get this even if the story is lackluster. Especially if they added some more LI scenes.

Shepard is a Spectre anyway, he/she has that kind of freedom. He was told to build an army and Aria is willing to contribute. I see it all as part of the job. Besides, lets assume for a moment that he was merely part of the Alliance. Why would the Alliance say no to such a covert operation when they stand to significantly strike Cerberus at one of their key assets?

Well we know how far being a spectre gets you (beginning of game). On top of this we have the war with the Reapers being the main problem. Cerberus is small change compared to world eaters knocking at your front door.

Asset denial my toe.

Except for the fact cerberus is hindering you and the alliance attept to stop the reapers.
I say making it hard for them to do there job makesthe alliances job easier to do.

Fighting a war on two fronts makes your job harder. Pull Cerberus to your side as they are still supposedly 'against' the Reapers, and then duke it out when the galaxy isn't about to be turned into toasters.

I'm enjoying every conversation on this thread. I take it Bioware's writers really have lost their passion. I guess its just a job now, huh, guys? I know your reading this thread and I'm a writer too, but when you lose the passion and it becomes a job things become mediocre. Sad!

You missed the act fact here that cerberus being ageistt he reaper is still not in favor of our side. Remeber, we did not attack cerberus first, they attacked us.

Cerberus wants to stop the reapers one way, we want to do it another way and cerberus wants to force us to do it their way.

The problem is not with the allied forces. It's with cerberus. We can;t help that it;s a two front war. Cerberus is forcing this to be a two front war.

I don't think that that is the point. Everything ME related is under a big scope right now so good or not people will judge. For ME3 Bioware just have to make decent DLC's and then just forget about everything. They need a fresh start for ME4. That is for sure.

For people who have completed it, where did you find the items required for Omega: Assist Harrot + Omega: Assist the Mechanic? I scoured pretty much everywhere yet couldn't find them! Any ideas which areas roughly?
