I'm playing a human mage and looking to bring the character into the expansion. I've spent as much as I've made so I've got around 276 gold and almost lvl 19.

There is a good ring, and I think somewhere I saw a good robe. I'm thinking of spending the money on just my mage since I won't be able to carry over my party (I use Alistair, Lelianne and Shale).

Whats best to buy or should I save the gold for when I go into the expansion? Or does that carry over?


I also think I sold all the Undead Legion equipment and don't know if I can complete the quest now to prove they are a noble house.

I'd equip the Warden and sell the rest. Money is much more useful import than equipment, you can buy/loot much better equipment (there willl also be two additional tiers for equipment) in Awakening, buying can be expensive, though. Additionally, you will need money to upgrade the keep You can make your own runes in DAA.

Thanks. So when should I sell? If I sell if just before the main fight am I going to be strong enough on average, to finish the game? or should i just unequip the moment before?

I usually sell post-game, and then make a new save for import.

Note that most DLC stuff (such as Starfang) does not import.
