I am a big fan of Krogan headbutting, and I have also seen other kits using a light melee to show comradery.  Shooting a few rounds to celebrate the end of a wave sounds like fun, but I don't want to offend anyone.  So what do you think: to shoot or not to shoot? 

It depends on the player. Sometimes it's just friendly jest, other times its an irritated Infiltrator trying to send you a message to quit spamming a skill that throws off everyone's aim around you.

my favorite way of dealing with rocket glitchers to get a pizza mission and get the objective, only to hide away with it for as long as possible. "y u get no credits?....u mad bro?"

during/after the other waves I'll probably be spamming powers, using melee, and shooting you in the face....that and try and kill you with aggro'd possessed abomination.

basically in a nutshell:

If I'm shooting your corpse = you should have gel'd

If I'm shooting/melee/spaming x or y power in your face = You have angered me intensely; and venting down my mic is not an option. Expect a horrible message after the game, I wont explain what you did, and I'll go light on the insults mostly because without a keyboard it takes a decade to say anything.... it takes me so long to write "I hope your mother...." that I'm no longer sufficiently enraged to finish the sentence. Ergo, expect incoherence; "I hope your mother...scrub"

I had one guy rage shoot me inbetween waves because he though i was shooting at him in the wave...I was shooting the Atlas behind him

I only shoot through my teammates never at them.

I shoot everyone between rounds. Most often with friends of mine. It doesn't hurt. Rage shooting is akin to yelling at a wall. I have a mic though. So if I want to express disapproval I simply make fun of how bad someone is. It's far more enjoyable than raging. Yup, it's a dick move, but so is mooching on a level that someone has no business playing.

If someone was obviously and completely uninterested if helping with an objective, I'll get right up in their grill and either shoot or melee them to try to send a message.

I shut people quite often when sniping with GI/Javelin. Sometime by purpose if is right in front of my target.
Maybe BioWare should add some kind of penalty like reduce damage for such kind of shots:D

If I am using the PPR and you are a randy who just refused to help with the objective, I will stand right in front of you and shoot you in the face with it for a couple of waves.

If you are a randy who let yourself bleed out, I will shoot your dead body for awhile. How long depends on how much I've come to loathe you.

ive never shot at someone. I do use heavy melee and powers between waves as a friendly hi 5 kinda thing. Makes me sad when no one reciprocates
