Hey, I finished the Omega DLC. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Worth the price? No. Glad I got it? Yes. It took me 2 and a half hours to clear it, but on higher difficulty settings that could have gone up to 4 hours easily. I was playing on easy to get to the plot points faster. There are a couple of moral choices, both relatively fun and satisfying but nothing much better than the main game. It won't effect the ending, and it's gameplay is relatively linear. Shooting sections, plot sections. One bit felt a bit more horror gamey than Mass Effect usually goes. There's nothing like the car section in LOTSB. So, what does it do well? Two new characters are both relatively interesting, the enemy and one of your allies. The whole thing is quite cinematic, in fact it felt more like an interactive film than Mass Effect at parts. That does separate it a bit from the main game. It's annoying that none of your squad can accompany you, and neither do they comment once you finish it - but both the squadmates on Omega are necessary, so there wouldn't have been much space for you. It does provide a satisfying resolution to Omega, which otherwise feels like a loose end. The shooting sections are, perhaps, better thought out than you'd usually get. If you want to extend the game time of Mass Effect, meet some new characters and listen to another reasonably good story within the ME lore, then it might be worth picking up. :)

PS: I had a weird glitch with my femshep, I think because of my helmet. She had duck lips for a lot of the videos. I did a renegade femshep playthrough, I think I'd enjoy this mission a lot more with male shep.
