I already consider that players consistently beating gold are good. Whether it is 20 minutes, 30 or 40, it doesn't matter. They have a good knowledge of the game etc.
Comparing the elite of the elite to the average 'good' player is not something to be done. Just because you didn't get the nobel prize/olympic gold in something, doesn't mean you're actually bad at it.

Btw, Stardusk, while I agree that the statistics show that you're at your best for gaming in your twenties, doesn't mean that your age and natural, genetic talent is everything there is. Some people might take that as offensive, as they have put a lot of work into it and want people to acknowledge they actually did that work. That's just something in general

And what of it if people take it offensively? It's true. What if, Lord of Physics, people don't like the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics and are offended about it? I have put a lot of work in this game but I still live in reality and am willing to acknowledge age and genetic limitations.

Sorry, but I didn't realize who it was until several hours later when I came across a post mentioning Feneckus here and remembered that's where I knew the name from.

Look, people, first of all, the "complaint" in my original post was tongue in cheek. I didn't mind playing with Feneckus, though it did make me feel rather like part of the scenery. I don't remember the exact specifics of the match (I played a bunch so I may be conflating a few different ones), but iirc I was playing a Phoenix Adept (which I had never used on gold before) because I finally decided to finish Biotic Mastery. It was kind of frustrating seeing a brute, throwing singularity, getting ready to smash and... oh, it's dead already, never mind. Despite these conditions, I still came second with about 80k iirc.

I don't remember dying very often, nor do I remember anyone else dying very often, and no one wiped in any wave. In my experience, that's a good team. A bad team, which are all too common, are the ones where I have 10 revives by wave 3.

Basically, my skill level at the moment is such that I can carry almost any pug if I'm playing a comfortable character, and do pretty well with almost any character provided there is at least one other person in the pug who isn't complete crap. My only weak spot are the collectors; I cannot solo the later waves with collectors, so 9 out of 10 times if collectors come up in a gold pug, we won't make it. This is compared to a few months ago, when if I was the top scorer in silver by about wave 5, it was a pretty good indication we weren't going to extract.

I'm 31 years old, since some people have been mentioning their ages as if it means something, and the last time I played a shooter before Mass Effect was the original Doom (and I mostly just used cheats on that). When I first played ME1, I died literally dozens of times in each mission, playing on casual difficulty (disarming the bombs on Eden Prime... that took me forever). When I started the MP, I thought Bronze was incredibly hard and Silver felt utterly impossible. So yeah, I think I've gotten pretty good by now, even if I'm obviously not in the same league as some of the other guys in this thread.

Is your origin the same name? I had a Feneckus drop in late waves after a Dc apparently to one of my games yesterday only got 10K last round or two. Didn't stick around after though.  I had over 180 K with my QME level 15 in gold with map selected (gotta finsish them off) so if it was U/U as usual would have been higher.

Hey I don't have a godly connection but people I roll with often, I am in EST US, and the other three one is in Italy, another Germany, and the other Korea and there are few DCs. Last night was Italy, Washington State, and Germany for 5 consecutive matches after I was done pugging. If you want to add me same name as here.

I may not be as godly as you oh mighty krogan (Lord Sirian) warlord but I do my best.

Krogan fall to mighty lag host whom cannot handle more than 2 players...weee >_> It's almsot manditory I become host at times just to siphon through the pain of horrid hosters

There is only a few famous xbox players on BSN.
The most famous would have to be Caineghis2500 over ASHEN EARTH.

He has probably the best ME3 guide on youtube. How to solo platinum got 200 likes in 1 1/2 days.

I'm a Geth Trooper most ofmy runs latly my prefrence class next to thatis Geth Engineer, oddly not a Geth Infiltrator, my second choice would be Vorcha or Krogan Weapon user builds

odd I never played with any of them..I wish I could but meh, I'm stuck usually playign PUG games with boring people that hurt my brain I wanna play with BSNers but I'm utterly mishappen and totaly a "diffrent type of player" from most elistists and pros usually making awkward builds or play a similar build diffrently, my specialty is numerics and pattern analysis of foes

I can't solo worth crud in ME3 past bronze, cause I depend on team work and aggro "control" if my team can't "Handle" my style I feel a tad maybe I might be able to solo a silver maybe on a OFF chance I prob maybe..nah I can't do gold I'll admit it soloing gold would be improbable for me, My style does not compliment lonering anything I need at least 2 more people,and I can only clutch a single round of gold on my own if people whisper slightly and watch my back for me.

if one of you darn well buy me a ME3 for my PC I gladly play it on my off time with ya guys..>_>

Volus are welcome in my games too.  Even if you lag you should get 60-80K gold. Now if the enemies are invisible or invulnerable you have my sympathy.  Only Condor or Dagger seems to do that when I am not host.

As a volus what I do is stick around a person called me "Big Buddy" whom I stalk for eternity ..even if they lose me they find out that I am faster than they think and find a way to them ..always, I prefrence stalking Krogans or Destroyers, and off chance Baterians, though stalking a vnagaurd esspecialy a nova gaurd is really fun
