I have,
- A FemShep who has beaten the game (green ending) with the EC installed
- Completed Aria's side missions
- Beaten Leviathan
- An xbox360
And no journal updates or anything new when I talk to Aria.

You can start it as soon as you get EDI in your squad (which happens after Palaven). Check your terminal or go talk to Aria again

So now I feel stupid. Apparently you go to the mail terminal. There is no journal update or anything before you read that one email. And I don't know about Rip the Reaper, but I sure got the email =)

So getting and reading an email is officially how you start the Omega DLC? At least i know that them... Guess ill try downloading again.

Well i just had the following problem, i read the first mail from her, and completed the side mission. but she would talk talk any more to me. so i went back to the normandy, where i had recieved a new mail, telling me to go back to the citadel
