When did Leviathan go on sale?

For me thats why I buy DLC to extend the life of whatever games that I play and its a rarity to have a mind blowing experience with DLC unless everything was Undead Nightmare esque. I hope you enjoy the rest of it.MWMike2011 wrote...
Too late for that, I'm 76% of the way to playing it. Honestly, though, I'm not looking for a mindblowing experience that will change my life and my perception of video games forever. I'm looking for a reason to get back into Mass Effect.
Not to be mean but how often do you buy DLC and did you buy DLC for the previous ME games?Gamer790 wrote...
Well I guess I'll just wait to pick this up in a bargain. Just like I did with Leviathan. Damn shame.
Like for most DLC and games its better to play it before making a decision on whether its "good" or "bad". Either way an extra $5 isn't a deal breaker when 3-5 hours is added to the SP.Bourne Endeavor wrote...
Appreciate the input, OP. I had been waiting for an overview of Omega. Alas, its results are exactly as I predicted, as was my assumption the additional price was to outset the unexpected cost from making the Extended Cut.

When did Leviathan go on sale?
This weekend, I think, for Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Con - Glitchy animation during cutscenes. At one point Aria makes a speech and at the end of each line, she swiftly spins back to her "default" position. Multiple camera shots with nothing but a wall in frame.
You're not alone there. It seems to be a persistent bug.

Truth, although added squadmates and lack of boss battles isn't the only thing contributing to my disappointment. I'm okay with a DLC that doesn't contain either of them, provided I believe the quality surrounding the DLC is up to snuff. To which I argue it isn't.Blueprotoss wrote...
Oddly enough you could say that no DLC is truelly worth it in ME with this list since "boos battles" and added sqaudmates from DLC is a rarity. Either way in reality an extra $5 isn't going to break something.
If you're referring to this, this isn't a review, this is simply a compilation of the fanbases pros and cons with the DLC. It's simply unfortunate that the Cons are currently outweighing the Pros.Blueprotoss wrote...
You're better off playing it especially when there's a Day 1 "review".D1ck1e wrote...
Damnit I was hoping for something great.
Yeah, that entire speech scene in general is glitchy. I've noticed a few graphical hiccups here and there, but for the most part, the scenes in the Omega DLC were graphically impressive.Kitten Tactics wrote...

I'd say the dialogue choices is on par with the rest of Mass Effect 3's dialogue choices...in that there aren't really many at all.clarkusdarkus wrote...
How much actuall dialogue choice is there? as going by some of the vids there doesnt seem much....alot of shooting though so im glad i didn't purchase Omega.
Most dialogue choices in this DLC boil down to, "Do you want to agree with Aria's ruthlessness, or disagree and urge her to become more caring?"

If thats the case then why would you put no boss battle or an added squadmate as a negative.FlyinElk212 wrote...

Most pro/con lists are reiews and to be fair most reviews are just opinion taken with a grain of salt. If this was a standard list then none of the ME DLCs would be "good" based on that list.FlyinElk212 wrote...

Most of these issues are associated with the Unreal engine along with the limitations of consoles.FlyinElk212 wrote...

They probably killed off Nyreen as an excuse to not make her a permanent squadmate.
Yeah. I had 3 possibile ways how would they put out of screen with reasons in narrative.. such a shame...
1. Death one or both
2. Aria and Nyreen are LI
3. They both leave for some stupid reason like - my people want me more than you did...

Because it is still a negative. If Stolen Memory, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker each had boss battles, then it stands to reason that Omega could've had one too.
That said, the lack of boss battles or added squadmates isn't a make-or-break deal for me when it comes to the quality of DLCs. It's that, PLUS other surrounding factors that do. The combination of the "con" factors is what makes me believe this DLC is a disappointment.
Haha, can't argue with your reviews fact. Although if this were the standard list, Stolen Memory, Lair of the Shadow Broker, and Leviathan would pass with flying colors.Blueprotoss wrote...

There's 3 possible paragon interrupts, and 6 possible renegade interrupts. Only 1 paragon interrupt is truly important though, and some people may not get it depending on how they've spoken to Aria. Almost every renegade interrupt (and whether or not you choose to ignore them) is important.clarkusdarkus wrote...

I wouldn't say it's not good. I'd say it's disappointing in several story aspects. It does have plenty of redeeming qualities though, some of which I'm sure I haven't discovered myself (so keep those pro/con contributions coming!).futurepixels wrote...
