That means no buy from me at the moment, maybe in a few months.

Didn't LoTSB have nothing to do with the plot, have no perm squad mates, last only two hours and introduce one of the most loathed character arcs in the Liara Shadow Broker arc? I'm sorry, the cons only seem to apply since this is ME3.
Uh, LoTSB took me way more than 2 hours...

What you thought the EC was free? Have to make up the difference somehow.AdmiralCheez wrote...
Bioware: making less of an effort for more money since 2011!
Snark aside, it looks like the ultimate problem with Omega is that while what it gives you is good, there's not enough to merit the price hike. I mean really, it's a $5 difference, but it's a pretty insulting $5. Since it sounds good enough to play, I think I'll hold off and wait until I'm in the mood for SP again to consider dropping the necessary cash. This is ultimately going to be a matter of me not spending my money on principle, because despite all the cons I still want to play this thing eventually. Maybe I'll just hide my debit card somewhere and pretend the DLC's not out yet...
*insert standard art joke here*And seriously, Bioware, what the hell is your problem with boss fights, anyway?

LotSB gave you a lot of goodies to play with after it was completed, giving you more resources to use in the rest of the campaign as well as goofy factoids about your squadmates. Also, let's not forget the value of a good hangout where you can just dick around for a few minutes before going on a sidequest binge. In addition, Liara becoming the Shadow Broker was assumed to be a BIG DEAL that would've had impressive consequences in ME3.The Mad Hanar wrote...

Only ME3 doesn't have real sidequests, and Liara is pretty much the Worst Information Broker Ever.
ME3, stop wasting all your goddamn potential.
EDIT: And LotSB made a lot of references to unique ME1/2 shenaigans that added to the immersion. It felt like it was connected to the greater whole, more like a bonus core mission as opposed to a seperate package.

Also, the DLC revealed the truth about the Shadow Broker. Gave us a place to go back to, info on almost all the important characters Shep knew, we could speak with 3 characters after the dlc was finished, do little non important missions and allowed us to respec our team. Oh, though I don't care much, one of the best boss fights in the game.

Liara was an old team mate, saved Shepard and could be his/her LI. We had reason to care.

Gotta admit, the Yahg reveal was pretty cool. I forgot you could go back to the ship afterwards too. Not exactly a hub, but it was Liara's place. That's why it would've been cool if Aria would've stayed on Omega. Can't really change that though.

It seems from other posts here that the title "Take Back Omega" pretty much sums up the DLC. Not much connection to the Reaper story arc.

Mass effect 3
That was Mass effect 2, LoTSB lasted just as long as this crap.
Liara is nice.

Really a bummer to find Nyreen's outcome is inevitable, there's enough choices that I was hoping there were other outcomes to the story
Disappointed with repetitiveness too: almost every level feels like "Turn this off" or "Turn that off" to progress. Oh and "boss fights?" Turn these FOUR things off!! <_<

As far as I know we were never promised either a new squadmate or a new permanent hub with the Omega DLC, so listing those as cons seems a tad unfair. Some of the others seemed perfectly justified, but not those ones.
Not unfair at all considering the price.
Omega is pretty much Arrival 2.0 - boring story, repetitive combat, but twice the price. Considering they were both made by the Montreal team, it makes sense. This is the same team making ME4, too.

There's no buildup, no musical tension, and even at the end, I was surprised by the little to no musical score to support the emotion of the scene. Just my thought anyway

Isn't that sad?
I wanted to be negative and hate on Omega before we even knew the details.
And to think it is even worse that what I said about Omega before it was released is somewhat sad.

By comparison what attachment does Omega offer? We're off to save a **** hole for an Asari who's more arrogant than Miranda. There is literally no build up or foreshadowing beyond a not so subtle lack of any mention of Omega in ME3's actual story. This alone makes Omega underwhelming before we even get our feet wet.
