Hi
I have wondered if anyone has seen a Modders Resource on a Player Mesh and or Bonesystem for Max?
Seen that tazpn has made a mesh extractor, but i cannot load the FBX due my old version.
So i would like a simple resource with it already loaded. Or if anyone can do it if it works?
So u can get startet trying to get something back to game, modified of course. Now that thers a exporter.
Modders Resource for NPC bonesystem anywhere?

Been wondering that myself. The close I came to that was transferring the bone weights data I found from a another model in the game, in blender into my new human torso part using the blender DAO exporter.It did load and animated okay in the editor, haven't tested in game yet. Another plugin I or you could try is that max plugin chewygumball made for 3ds max and gmax. Gmax is free however and I heard it exports ani files. Thats all I know so far in reference to exporting bones
PS. also you can also try the autodesk Fbx program which converts FBX from and to to various 3d model formats.
