Do you actually have a confirming link that they are hermaphrodites?

At least from what I have ready Bioware has never mentioned this, the planarian worm reference only said they were genetically similiar but not the same only referencing it for their ability to adapt to climates, heal quickly, and regenerate limbs and such. I have actually never read anything that confirmed they didn't have a sex or on how they reproduce though other than the random Mordin reference on Asari and Vorcha offspring.

Without proof there are only theories. Gavorn did say they **** a lot though if I remember right. Assuming something is always a gamble but they do have a similar genetic constitution that planarian worms have so it's not a huge leap in logic that they also have the reproductive system copied also.

Course we'll never know unless BW releases something like a kamasutra for aliens or a sex ed book.

Sexual reproduction serves primarily as a safeguard against disease. Vorcha are incapable of contracting diseases, so it's entirely possible that they are unisexed / monogendered.
