wow. i can't believe it, but that artist actually made female versions of the batarians and vorcha that aren't as horrific as i could only imagine.

Everything I said was false. . .
(I'm a lady. However vorcha probably don't have gender. Though I would be supportive of female characters who have none; for the species that do have genders. Like the Batarians and Drell.

Mind you I'm not so sure about drell genders. That's just speculation. )

Eh, for all we know, our current Vorchas are actually female. They aren't mamalians. They wouldn't have boobs, while male might very well have their genitallias hidden is some protective cloaca and as humans, we couldn't tell the difference between genders. And if they are indeed hermaphrodites, then the point is moot since they are both male and female.

I think it's clear that I'm basing my criticism on the idea that much of the alien designs, whether fan art or company based, have close ties to the human form. Too much anthropormophizing for my tastes. Unless the image in question is clearly a joke.
