Man, I love this game.
Playing through as a Renegade Female Sentinel. It sounds cliche but every time I go through it I notice things that I didn't before, which helps me appreciate the game even more.
The combat still isn't as polished but nostalgia + the older RPG feels makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
I will be saving Kaiden, letting Wrex die (for the first time ever!), and letting the council die as well.
Part of the reason that I chose Sentinel, actually, is because I've had so much fun playing sentinels on ME3's MP. This is my first sentinel campaign and so far I haven't been disappointed.
Anyone else picked up ME1 recently? Maybe because of the trilogy or a billion other reasons?
Going through my 4th playthrough

I didn't just pick it up...but I was away for the holidays for a bit...and now I'm about to start another full playthrough myself.
I never really change anything and play as the same Commander Shepard in every playthrough...just more refined.
I just love the Mass Effect universe and the characters.

Nice. What type of Shepard do you play? Which choices/decisions did you make?
It's really hard for me to play renegade actually, so I can relate. I say that I wan't to make all the renegade choices, but I'm always hesitant and get tempted to just play through the way I did the first time around. I'm only allowing Wrex to die this time around, and this will be my second renegade run. I guess I have a hard time making ALL of the "meaner" decisions.

I headcanon "Project Vitality" into my Shepard's background...so I always play as a Soldier...it just fits perfectly for concept and playstyle.
I go full Paragon in ME1.
I save Ashley.
Never recruit Wrex.
Save the Council.
Made Anderson a Councilor.
