Raw figure it is about an 8/10, because of the price might be more 7.5/10. Some good dialog, I like the interaction with Aria. You get to "be" your character some in this -- more than in Leviathan. I felt my personality more in other words. There are some good set pieces in combat and the new powers and enemies are good.

I would have preferred more that is is always sort of a given. They also build up the engineered foes to be super scary but they don't seem to be all that awfully tough. I'd rather face 4 of them than a single Scion from ME2.

The dlc was pretty good, decent pacing the firefights were pretty good as well (adjutants great enemy type). Loved Aria and Nyreen as well as the way they played off each other. Couldn't help feeling that Nyreen would like Garrus (not just cause he's turian but for his exploits on Omega). But and this is a big but; it was not worth 15 dollars should have been 10 but I don't regret purchasing it so take that as you will.

Solid 8 for me but overpriced so I say 7.5.

For the most part I really enjoyed it. I liked the dynamic between Aria and Nyreen, and I think they did a good job of making this one a bit more morally "grey" than just "Cerberus is evil, kill them and Aria is awesome, be her friend". You kind of had to think about why you were doing what you were doing, whether it was for the war effort, because you cared about civilians, or because you wanted to mack onto Aria.

But agree with the other comments about the price. I think $10 would have been fairer.

if 10 bucks, 9.5 for sure.
Now it's 8.7

Edit: ME's DLCs are always shooter focus. Omega did a lot of job on dialogue choices and decesions making. It worth some applaud.

I thought it was terrible, complete waste of money. I thought they said it was twice as long as anything they've done before... it took me 3 hours... Leviathan DLC took me about the same so I don't get how they came up with that... Bioware seem to lie about everything.

They did say that play time would be different for anyone depending on your skill and how much you explorePosted Image

There are too many glitches. I can't even get past a certain point in the DLC because the next sequence refuses to load.

This.

Leviathan set the bar too high, they should have put Omega out first. And not charged an extra $5 for it.

I liked it more than Leviathan. *gaspshockawe* All that back and forth between the Citadel and planets got to be tiresome. I also didn't like what I call the "Bouncy Level." "I don't know what the scientific measurement of a ****load is, but that seemed liked a ****load of Harvesters." Yeah, that one.

Plus, Aria grabbed my Shep and planted one right square on her. Gotta love that.

One expression..."meh".

Not bad, not great, just average. And not worth the extra $5.

Kinda sucks that if i buy it, new buyers of the game will likely get it with the purchase of the game. Remind me again why i preordered, bought the collectors edition and all the dlc? Thanks Origin!

I'd say it was fun, so worth playing, but didn't add enough to be worth the price increase. Would have been fine at the same price as previous dlc, but I did feel a bit cheated out of my extra 5 bucks.

A grade out of 10? 7.5-ish, I guess.

It was a fun mission. I enjoyed the characters, new enemies and the choice involved with the mission although it's a bit overpriced. 8/10.

Haven't quite finished, but here are my thoughts (INCOMING WALL O'TEXT!):

Pros

- The combat is fun (much more fun than in Leviathan, imo) - it's fast-paced and relentless, and the new powers are very entertaining to play. If you aren't a fan of lots of action, then I guess this could be seen as a con, but I like me some pew-pew on occasion :P

- Aria and Nyreen are excellent squadmates - there's banter, and some history, between the two, and Nyreen in particular is a very engaging character, shame she isn't a permanent squaddie. I didn't miss my Normandy team, which is saying quite a lot :) Good job in this regard, Bio. Nyreen also looks amazing, very attractive without being overly sexed up.

- Oleg Petrovsky. It seems that his character remains largely unchanged from 'Invasion', Nyreen even comments that he seems honourable or something. Plenty of people were worried about some kind of character assassination there, but it hasn't happened. I haven't experienced the end yet, but it seems there may be an option to deal with him in a non-violent manner. If so, fantastic.

- Shepard gets the option to not be completely supportive of Aria and her methods, which is nice. There have been a few occasions where I get to call her out on her violence and vengefulness. Still a bit too much auto-dialogue throughout, however.

- It's fun to make my way through Omega (I missed that place!), and there are some good looking levels (bit dark in places though!)

- some well-written dialogue, and the voice acting is top notch, as always.

- Soundtrack. Very compelling, as in the main game.

Cons

- Length. Like I said, I haven't quite finished yet, but Omega is looking like taking me about the same amount of time as Leviathan (3.5 hours or thereabouts). I was expecting a fair bit longer for a much higher price tag.

- Graphical glitches. In the scene where Aria rallies the Omega mercs, she kept glitching around the screen - something I've only had happen 2 or 3 times in total throughout the main game happened maybe 3 times in this scene alone. Would expect more polish for this sort of price.

- Story. It's there, and is decent enough, but the whole thing comes off as kind of 'story-lite', and not really tying that well into the main game. The beginning (of the dlc proper, when we first get to Omega) is also very sudden - could have done with a bit more build-up.

- Sidequests. I love sidequests, but that isn't what these were. They were essentially fetch quests on foot. If you're going to put sidequests in to flesh out the main campaign, then please make them .. er .. fleshy.

- I've heard that Aria ends up back on the Citadel. This makes no narrative sense whatsoever, given how much she hates the place and can't wait to leave. I understand why Bio has done it this way (presumably to allow players to still complete Aria's Merc quests), but it would have been far more sensible (imo) to either a) lock off the Omega quest until those were done, or B) have the player miss out if you don't do them first, as in LotSB.

- Can't do the mission in chunks. I realise why not, but I really liked in Leviathan that we could just do part of the mission, then leave it for a bit, do a bit more etc. It gave the impression of greater length. There was also a bit more to explore in Levi.

Overall, I had fun playing this, will no doubt do the dlc on all of my playthroughs, and enjoy doing so. I've read elsewhere that this is ME3's Pinnacle Station, and I don't think that's a very fair comparison at all. I loathed PS (aside from the apartment) and don't generally play it - this is vastly better in all aspects. That said, it is weaker than Leviathan (less story, no fun non-combat bits such as the investigative section or wandering around the creepy facility). Clocking in at around the same length as its predecessor, it is ultimately not worth 1200 MS points. 1000 at a stretch maybe, given the new enemies, new temp squaddies and new powers, but not 1200. Unless you REALLY like Aria :P

7.5

I liked this DLC. I didn't had any problems or bugs. I enjoyed the scenes, story, new and old enemies, characters and fights. I liked their variations - alone, with Aria or Nyreen or both. I don't know how about others, but I have seen new places on Omega and I liked it. I have found new updates for my weapons (I don't play MP so I don't know if they are new or not) and I made them to good use. I didn't mind lot of fights. I think that Omega is more about fighting and Leviathan more about talking (there was lot of fighting too, but I hope you understand how I mean it...) and it is good if DLC's are different from each other, otherwise we would have same things over and over. I think that Aria is super powerfull. XD I am super happy about Nyreen. And well I don't mind the price, really, I brought the appearance pack too. For the lenght, I don't know, I don't meassure my play time and I think that I played more than 3 hours. I look forward to play this DLC through the game like I did with Leviathan. So overall rating is, that I enjoyed it and I hope they have more upcoming DLC's for us. Let's keep Shepard alive for a little longer. ;)

Oh well, I forget about flashlight - so, that's super, and meeting old faces was super too, you get so nostalgic. It's a shame that we can't go to Omega after the battle. But what we know, maybe some other time. ;)
9/10

Great atmosphere, great interior Omega, it was nice to see Harrot and Afterlife ... Unfortunately, little too much shooting, not enough interaction between the characters and the price was too high. Finally: 8/10 points.
