How would you rate omega overall?

Slightly less terrible than Leviathan, and on par with the rest of the game.

No we just like something you don't. Simple.Kabooooom wrote...
4/10. You people that rate it higher are easily amused. And this is coming from someone who totally called that there would be no permanent squadmates, no hub, no aria romance a month before it was announced. And I was STILL looking forward to it despite all that. So I'm an objective critic, and Omega was just sub par.

Things I loved:
- Introduction on the Citadel
- The first mission (Great introduction to Omega)
- The third mission (Fantastic introduction to a new enemy. The horror worked brilliantly.)
- Aria and Nyreen interactions
- Returning Mass Effect 2 location
- Great combat
- Fantastic new enemies
- ME2 Omega character cameos
- Side quests
- Mini-hub
- Soundtrack
- Bonus powers
- Almost 4 hours of fantastic gameplay
Things I weren't so keen on:
- The boss-type part (I just don't like boss-type parts of any game usually, so not really a complaint, but personal taste.)
- The glitches (Spinning Aria, for example.)
Overall: 9/10

4/10 Only action! The plot is only to link the hordes! Gears Of Effect!
If i want horde i have multiplayer.
SIGH! I still remember the care of shadow broker, the beauty of kasumi, the final revelation of overlord and the hammerhead flying
What a disapointment
Of course it's mainly action, what did you expect? You got to this point by chatting Aria up on the Citadel, now is the time for action and storming an occupied space station under heavy fire is hardly the time for deep soul wrenching discussions and soliliquies Let's not forget that Aria is also singularly focused on reclaiming Omega and frequently admonishes you that it's not the time to talk and to hurry up. This all fits with what we know of Aria from ME2 and ME3. If you didn't expect action during a heavy ground assault on Omega were you equally disappointed that you weren't constantly talking during the London ground assault?

12 cans of pepsi or cola
Who buys individual cans of soda anymore? Once I discovered that a 1.5 liter of soda is actually CHEAPER than a can, I mean honestly cheaper (91 cents vs $1.25) not more cost efficient... buying a can is retarded.
As much as I enjoyed Omega and think that it was worth the money, that argument is terrible. You could probably get an entire drum full of soda for that much money.

Omega plays as if it had been part of the Mass Effect 3 experience all along. The story was memorable, as were the characters as they developed through-out the mission.
What truly interested me though is the new powers and armor I spotted throughout the mission, as well as new enemies. This gives me hope for new MP DLC, as it has been shown that they often recycle those from SP. I feel like they did wonderfully this time around, though not perfect, it was a very good DLC and felt more substantial than ones prior, and definitely ranks up their just after Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Dull. Disappointing. Overpriced.
The bright side: Interesting fights with new enemies; Third mission is rather good.
The dark side: Almost everything else. Particularly the story, straight as iron rail. Bioware just forgot how to tell interesting tales to gamers.
Just imagine what they could do with Petrovsky, who was such a multi-faceted person back in Invasion comics series! Instead they portray him as empty one-sided villain and throw him out of window.
And Nyreen, one of the most promoted features of this DLC? Result - plain goody two-shoes with half-hour screen time and pathetic death scene.
TL,DR: On par with Arrival, worse than Leviathan, lightyears behind Lair of Shadow Broker.

Currently I don't feel like it was worth the extra $5 but I'll hold my final judgement until my completionist run is completed

I've got similar sentiments, although I'd give it a slightly lower numerical score. I expected a little bit more out of the mini-hub (felt like it was Mordin's clinic in ME2, fine as a rest area between action sequences but not really a hub, and less interesting than Dr. Bryson's lab in Leviathan), and I just don't see how the cinematic glitches were missed by the devs. That said, I'd still put Omega up there with Lair of the Shadow Broker and Leviathan as examples of how Mass Effect DLC should be done.Shepard108278 wrote...
