I just had a quick game and its harder to play than I thought.

Once you are cloaked you can fire dark channel to prime, however you can't immediately fire the following warp for a biotoc explosion. You need to wait for TC to end, and then the cool-down to finish, and then you can fire warp. Pretty slow biotic explosions.

Using the fire one power evolution its almost a choice. Don't use tactical cloak and fire off biotic explosions, or use tactical cloak for weapon damage and warp for debuff.

That's probably because one of your teammates used a power on the banshee, whom then used her barrier absorbtion technique, cancelling the Incendiary DoT. 


nope. although the warp/incendiary DOT was very strong, It didn't quite suffice. do I go for Weapon damage or Power damage when using this "feature"?

TC specc'd for damage and skip fitness. Put on a Javelin and Claymore and get BEs every 5 seconds or so.

Just ran her around with a LOLClaymore. Warp for "Expose" on 5th Evo. Plus more Warp Ammo (Incendiary is very scarce for me for some reason).

Boom.

Does DC not dissipate once the explosion happens? The effect stays on?

The effect lives on, though you can only BE each infected target once.

I was actually kinda hoping for an adept with TC on this one. Still, interesting possibilities.

Tried running around like an adept with an acolyte (on silver, didn't want to ruin anyone's game with my delusional optimism). Ehh. CD's are too long to play like a proper adept, but I can see this working with a nice shotgun or harrier. Might try a hurricane.

DC will stay on target,, BE or not, for its full duration. unless of course the target dies (DC jumps to nearby enemy) or you recast DC.

And each time it jumps, it reprimes for BE.

Cloaked DC with Power Damage tears bosses apart. I love it. And I think cloak does affect explosions.

I love how this class is basically for those people who used the Fury sitting back and spamming DC+Throw instead of charging in like a proper lunatic. Just replace AF with the more appropriate (for this playstyle) TC, upgrade Throw to Warp, and camp away!

6/6/6/5/3 all the way for me. Throw on a Scorpion for all of teh lulz.

Edit: Failcloak bug really hurts this class.

I did a straight melee damage build and use strength enhancer 3 and Juggernaut Shield on her with a shotgun with the blade. Works great on silver and is a force against Cerberus dropping Phantoms and Dragoons in 1 Melee and can do massive damage to bosses.

Gold is rougher. You still kill most units with 1 Melee but bosses are harder to deal with, using warp as a debuff helps and requires more selective meleeing but is completely gold viable. She is squishy so gotta watch yourself.

If you want different kind of build that is.

I'm using a ppr x with this one. DC is really good in a tight spot. If your team is downed and you have to kill a banshee. Safest way is strip barrier, dc and run away. :whistle:

Just did a quick solo against reapers/Gold.

Berseker gear V (+12% Shotgun damage/+12%Melee), Shotgun Rail Amp III, Incendiary IV, Reegar X with HVB/Spare ammo.

Full weapon damage on passives

Cloak/Warp/Half a clip = Dead Brutes

Cloak/Warp/Full clip = Banshee dead from full Barriers/Armor in less 3 seconds. I'm not even exaggerating.

For Ravagers, Cloak/Shoot a few 'bullets', then Warp. It'll create a fire explosion, useful for killing those  pesky swarmers and crowd control all around. Then empty Reegar clip.

Why not both? BE while cloacked, if it still stands, claymore/reegar/wraith. That should do the trick.

I decided I'm going for a 4/3/6/5/6 build with a claymore since my Reegar is at a low level, or I may use the Reegar because I don't have an Infiltrator packing that thing, but I'm not sure. It's between like four shotguns right now. It doens't matter though because they'd all be effective anyway.

I'm going to put 3 points into DC for now just to see how it fairs for my playstyle, and if it's not working I'm go for three points in fitness instead. I'm probably not going to have her for a while considering I'm not buying anymore PSP til my consumables are at 200 again because today I unlocked the Krogan Battlemaster(Finally) and the Geth Trooper(Finally as well). I think getting two kits PLUS an upgrade to my Black Widow was a lovely thing.

I completely specced out of DC, and took Recharge speed/Power Damage on Rank 5/6 of TC.

Hopefully the rank 6 Power Damage evo will be tested by Corlist/Peddro, because I'm not sure if it's actually useful or not/if there's a lot of difference between taking it or not.


If Rank 6 is not that useful, I plan on putting 4 in cloak and 4 in Dark Channel for whenever I don't want to exploit the Warp/Incendiary glitch.

Prime with DC/Shoot weapon with Warp ammo. Enemy is dead, DC primes another target. Warp III = +75% bonus damage. Warp IV = +100%.  Use DC for priming groups of mooks and Warp for priming bosses.

Weapons like the PPR, the Harrier, the Claymore, etc... will probably be hilarious too with Warp ammo.

K am 66653 but cloak feels like it isn't working holy ****ing ****...

Anyway i think i will switch bonus power to power dmg bc i can just cloak-dc-shoot-warp (uncloaked), since BEs are probly not buffed by TC anyway.

The double dot of warp and dc is crazy atm tho. But cloaked dc as it is is destroying all the things..

Was thinking of dropping bonus power for pwr dmg, but then my DC would take my cloak recharge. I wanna be able to shoot after tc/dc then fire off an uncloaked warp. The tc/dc is doing insane dmg with armor evo. I tcdc a brute, warp BE it, and it has 3 bars (gold).

If i do decide to take pwr dmg, and at the cost of a slightly longer recharge after my dc, at least i will be able to shoot in between. Also my dc will be doing more dmg, and as it stands it is doing really huge dmg to big targets with armor.

I think the tcdc shoot warp will be more my playstyle tho. I can't wait for some good old math for this toon bc the tcdc is hitting really effing hard lol..
