So this DLC could be called last stand or something but it takes place AFTER the refuse ending, in this you would not play as commander shepard (in refuse he honestly was probably killed shortly afterwards) and instead you play as an n7 operative (based on the 6 from MP) and you have to do missions that are nothing short of suicide while the whole time seeing an even darker story showing the downfall of our cycle.
One mission I was pondering was having to defend a secret Asari colony (this was based off the fact that several people thought the lady in refuse may have been an asari) and the goal would be to buy them enough time to gather supplies and prepare them to wait until the reapers leave and they can rebuild at least their own race. (Hell maybe Krogan and other races too) You could also do stuff like trying to save civillians with overwhelming reaper forces trying to defeat you. Just a quick thought but I'd love to hear what you think.
Would this be fun dlc?
