Good Evening everyone

My wife has purchased the CE of Dragon Age for me for my birthday on the 14th of jan  from game in southampton. I see that their are alot of issues with the additional content (ie dragon armor & shale), what advice can you offer about these issues when installing our claiming these items.

Also i will be getting a £20 psn voucher also so will be getting the 2 other dlc's so do you think i should wait till i have all the dlc'c installed and then start playing the game or will it be alright to start playing with the dlc'c included with the game.

There are no issues with the additional content if you are capable of following instructions written simply enough for five year olds to understand. I have yet to see a 'complaint' on these forums about setup or installation of the DLC that is not caused directly by user error, aside from those cmpaints made in the first few days of retail sale, where the servers for providing the DLC were understandably overtaxed, frustrating people with the attention span of a chipmunk on cocaine.

Excluding the DLC supposed to be released tomorrow, I don't think you will need to purchase other DLC. There will be some included with your game. Some you cannot get, I'm afraid, as they were for users registered in this website before Nov/30, some are reward for playing Dragon Age:Journeys.. website game and some are exclusive of pre-release pre-order, afaik.

In any case, the vanilla game has enough items par to anything a DLC might give you except for Warden's Keep which lets you craft The Sword!

EDIT: And there are not many issues with the DLC. A few people experienced some bug, very few and before patch. I never had any issue since I played v1.00 without DLC and got my CE when I had already patch 1.01 ready to install. Usually the problem happens because of a malfunction in that notorious part... which is located between the chair and the keyboard!

As far as waiting to play until you have the DLCs, it's up to you. I know I couldn't wait to start this game. You could start a game now, install the DLCs when you get them, if you feel you want to play a whole game with the DLCs, you have a good reason to do a playthrough.....
