Love your bad criticism based on untrue facts.

The alliance did not even have access to the archives where the Crucible was found.

And how is them trying to build something they don't know contrived? Then I could easily call ME1's entire plot contrived because Shepard did not know what the Conduit did.

And you realize Cerebrus knew who the Shadow Broker was (duh....Cerebrus gave Shepard the intel to give Liara to take down the Broker, or did you miss this?). In fact Homeworlds #4 shows this.

Since when did the genophage cause genocide? Thats false. The Krogans view it as such however.

Kai Leng has what is called a monomolecular blade...try again. Notice how Phantoms slash through your shields?

And yet TIM could get through the Omega 4 relay without the IFF in ME2 at the very end.

Nothing contrived with the Leviathan arc (other that forceful foreshadowing), in fact Leviathan is an example in how NOT to be contrived when it comes to plot. Nevermind it thematically wraps a series.

And really, you don't know what "contrived" means.

Anything after the bold I can't take seriously because that's a blatant lie. The Prothean ruins on Mars (Where the plans were) was FOUNDED and RUN by the Alliance! I mean, I can at least understand having problems with fact not as obvious, but this is just a flat out lie.

I think the person you're responding to meant "access" as "read, understand, and comprehend the prothean language", which they can't because they (1) aren't Shepard and (2) aren't asari that specialize in prothean writings and artefacts.

They had a prothean expert on Mars way back in ME on the Alliance news who worked at the Mars base. the news mentioned finding the door that lead to the ruins and that the scientest could read. They may not know everything as far as the prothean characters go but like the Mayan hieroglyphics they get enough of them to do their job. There are more people then just Liara deticating their lives to the study of the protheans shep and Liara weren't required on mars.

I have a solution for everyone who is not happy with the ending: Bioware should made Alternate Ending DLC.
If you are happy with current endings, skip that one; if you are not, new stuff will be perfect for you.

omega wasnt great but it wasnt terrible either

after the ending fiasco its still cool to hate me3, so as soon as anyone sees anything slightly wrong they jump on it and tear the **** out of it and others follow like sheep

they question why they are doing these missions, quesion what effect it has on the story, say that it is pointless.

and yet the same can be said for 90% of other me dlc, but all that came out before it was cool to hate me3.

tl;dr: people are dicks

Because people hate BioWare now, because they are owned by EA. And everyone has to hate EA because they are bad.

Stop handwaving everything away like it only comes down to blind hatred.

Sorry, but I agree with LinksOcarina. EA changed Bioware... and possibly for the worse.

So, EA changed Bioware so their writing quality gone from good to outright horrible? How's that?

Why do people hate Omega so much?

Because it's liberating to hate on a company that has demonstrated, time and again, that it doesn't deserve any better.

Also, because it's a piece of cardboard shit. Pick your poison.

goldrush has a point about the conduit. You spend the entire game looking for a device that does nothing but take you to a place you go through a hundred times during the course of the game.

You never played ME1 or just lying. Shepard were searching for Saren, and Saren were searching for Conduit.

Also nowhere did it say the Alliance didn't have access to the prothean data archives, that's the blatant lie. If you actually pay attention when Liara talks, the Prothean archives were so vastly filled with information that there was still a lot they hadn't deciphered. That's why nobody had found the Crucible blueprints until Liara found out about the data on Kahje(read Homeworlds.)

Pathetic.
Txgoldrush made up blantant lie, and you support him, by saying he is lying.

Small prothean archive was retconned in ME3. And please, there were 30 years of research of a small data cache, of course it was searched throughoutly.
It is plain asspull with retcon included.

No,  having liked ME3, my main problem is the fact that Omega wasn't worth the extra money.

They now have a priority to make more cash through Multiplayer modes that they intend to put in all their future games and expect them to be as successful as sport games. Ever since they changed the core writer from the series, the Mass Effect franchise has changed and not a lot of the first Mass Effect fans are happy about it. This franchise can only get worse and worse if they don't go back to their roots.

Where did I say hate? It was alright, I just don't think it was worth the extra money.

I see the usual crowd are out throwing petty insults at anyone who doesn't say that everything about ME3 is great, deep, and meaningful.

If you think Omega and LotSB are on even terms, I don't know why you play Mass Effect.

If by "great," you mean an irrational stereotype, then sure.

Aria was horrible in this DLC. She was a **** to everyone trying to help her and couldn't even be killed. What a waste.

eh idk . personally i didn't hate it . it had its faults , but what doesn't . i liked LOTSB because it seemed to focus alot of characters . mainly squadmates and such . it did same in omega but they were new . takes more time then 2 hours to learn about someone i guess

anyways it wasn't the best dlc but it was ok . some might have hated it , but hey this is bsn after all .

That it? Well Omega is a lot more fun than Levi was and Levi wasn't anymore meaningful really, Omega is a good battle I  like it :)

I think there should have been some more info on him (for those that didn't read the comics) besides: here's your baddy gogogo! You only got Aria's PoV of him and only the few moments of his actual screen time.

I don't know, I've not played Omega so can't really comment on it. Taken on its own I thought that Leviathan was decent although I'd have preferred something a bit longer. Leviathan at least fits into the story and doesn't feel like a pointless sideshow (even if it doesn't really change anything), which seems to be one of the main complaints about Omega.

I'd say they just stopped caring, this would be more accurate. Of course, unsatiable greed can seriously damage writing quality, i saw that with some book writers.
But it seems to me most of EAWare writers just tired of writing.

Hahaha, no more meaningful than discovering the origin of the Reapers? You know, the main antagonist of the game?

Pretty sure you're more into combat so you could've just played the Multiplayer and saved yourself 15 bucks.
