Shortens lifespans definitely. Ages prematurely, not so sure. Duncan didn't look that old and he was near the end of his "thirty-years left to live" and "not having to worry about growing old" Grey Warden deal.

I remember Daveth calling him old more than once; though it's in deferencce to how spry he is for his age.

Guilmore is probably dead. In Fort Drakon, when the Warden was captured, there was a scene (and later I think you can see it yourself) where a torture machine is showns, with the bodies of Ser Guilmore and Sister Mallol.

Hmm, this took some thought...

1) Dagna - I have always felt uncomfortable about dwarves always being immune to magic, I love the idea of a dwarf being involved with the circle, even if only for research. I think that is a great opportunity for a good story that has possibly been missed

2) Cole - Wonderful character. So much potential for a deep, engaging storyline here.

3) Morrigan - Also a wonderful character. Possibly my all time favourite.

4) Flemeth - Too many questions left unanswered.

5) Sandal - Too many questions left unanswered.

Note that I didn't post the names in any order and obviously I don't want to see Anders rise from the dead if he was killed in DA2 without a good reason. Though personally I wouldn't mind to see any character as long as David Gaider respects the fact that some of those who could die in the previous games, doesn't make any sense to see them revived in the next one.

1. Morrigan.  The Morrigan-Flemeth plot is my favorite unfinished story in Dragon Age.  So I want to see it continue and that requires the return of Morrigan.
2. Alistair. The second best character in the Dragon Age universe!  Because of his lineage, an appearance in a game set in Orlais makes sense given Orlais's political connection to Ferelden.
3. Flemeth. As said, earlier, the Morrigan-Flemeth plot is my favorite unfinished story in Dragon Age. So more Flemeth is good.
4. Leliana. I like her advisory role to Justinia and figure she'sbound to be involved in any game that features Chantry upheavall.  Also, the ending for DA2 suggests Leliana and Cassandra have more to say.
5. Aveline.  DA2's MotA suggests Aveline has a reason to be in Orlais.

1 Morrigan dosent have to be a party member but i do want her in the game as a sub plot so i can find out what happen with her and my warden who went with her in to the other world

2 Varric and Cassandra also should be in this one they had a lot to do with driving 2 story.

3 Hawke and he\\shes LI if they had one should apear at some point i mean Hawke is the one that stood at the begining of this war. if you views clash maybe even have you have to fight each other.

4 Bethany/Carver the sibling i rather enjoyed in to even tho there time was limited. Wouldnt mind seeing them as party members if they lived throught the play through.

5 Cullen would make for a nice sane side of the templars in this as well.

Flemeth Sandle are givens they are cleary tied to each other in some way. ( The old woman is scarry) Alisrair should have some side plot if he is king. Ander if hes alive should be with the nutty end of the mages.

Agreed. I want Bethany as a love interest, she is so amazingly hot!
I would also like to see more of Finn and Ariane from Witch hunt. They were great characters, and they could also have some connection to the warden and Morrigan.
