Apart from the obvious inclusion of both Morrigan and Flemeth, I'd be pretty happy with any of the old returning characters. I have to say, though, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Josmael and Nyree from Dragon Age Redemption.

There isn't anyone I don't want to see in Inqusition, but other than those three, I think I'd be more interested in seeing my favorite characters referenced than actually reintroduced.

For example: seeing some charlatan vendor in Orlais trying to sell magic schleet-skin capes.

1. Cullen - his story arc has more to it.
2. Shale - always need a bit of sarcastic humour.  Also the new location/castle may have a pigeon problem ....
3. Varric - just because he's Varric.  Handy to have Bianca on your side!
4. Flemeth - always a lot of unanswered questions about her and the PC is bound to need her help again.
5. Warden/Hawke 

I would have said Alistair and/or Nathaniel (who I loved respectively in Origins and Awakening), but after seeing them both in DA2 and the way they looked ....

Uh....... That's all I got. I'm not a fan of cameos, but the mystery of Bevin and Feynriel is going to bug me.

well if Sebastian were to come back then my hawke and anders would be in trouble because of anders being my LI , I sent sebastian away and he was infuriated

 1. Fenris...the chances of this happening feel so slim to me but PLEASE.
2. Varric...because he is just too badass to not include.
3. Alistair...I'm kinda seriously pissed at him for breaking up with me but oh well.
4. Morrigan...disliked her character but Bioware would be an ass not to finish her story.
5. Hawke...the Warden's story is done, no need to bring them back. But Hawke and his/her LI and personality would be magical. 

I can just see Bioware being the troll they always are and not have Cullen in DA:3...I can just see all the angry fan girls now...
