The Huntress cloak is broken and not giving its weapon damage boost *sigh*

1) They want to see first when they actually can fix it or even if they can fix it at all.

I think you over-dramatize it quite a bit. People just want to know what is going on and it is not a unreasonable request.

The issue at hand is pretty severe, it is definitely not "the sky is falling" severe, but it is not a minor bug either. It should be addressed or acknowledged in a timely manner.


You think it is severe?  The lack of the weapon damage bonus is severe...thus making her broken? That seems a little overdramatic to me. She has the best power bonuses available...but cuz she doesnt have the (upto) 80% weapon damage bonus ontop of that it is an issue that demands immediate response?

It may or may not be an issue. Either way....it will be addressed...but not as soon as some folks want.

IMHO...she is good as is....a weapon damage bonus ontop of that...might be alittle too much.  If i was concerned about weapon damage bonuses i would play one of the other infiltrators.

I personally don't think that she is a broken or terrible class; I think that she is above average.  Yes, she does get a huge damage bonus, but one of her powers does very little base damage to begin with . The other does it's damage over a very long period of time, does not stack and can only be cast against one target at a time (Since her TC evo 6 bonus is additive, it only amounts to a 37.5 DPS boost to DC).  If she had cluster or lift grenades, I'd understand the "AH is awesome" responses a lot more.

She's not bad... no more effective than the Valk though. Finished a couple of gold games with 130k. I do like dark channel, but hard to make it work with warp.

As it stands right now, with full consumables the Asari Huntress has a weapon damage modifier of 3.41x while the Geth Infiltrator has one of 4.08x

Also worth noting a few additional facts(which I know isn't going to stop anybody, but I'm going to do it anyway =P)

> The Geth Infiltrator can reduce pellet spread by 75% while the Huntress can only do 50%.
> Proximity Mine is an AoE that hits harder than the single target Warp. In return Warp can participate in Biotic Explosions.
> The Piranha is a far more effective weapon for the Geth Infiltrator, at which point the additional RoF and especially accuracy of Hunter Mode become much bigger deals.


Appreciate the numbers.  But I'm fairly certain that incendiary is a far more powerful option for her and wouldn't make this much of a contest.

If cloak gets fixed they seriously need to take a look at incendiary warp dot.

I actually think the design and idea behind the class is quite nice and was very happy with the power side of it until I noticed the rifle not doing as much as expected. Once that is eventually fixed, the huntress will be in the top 3 infiltrators for me personally.

Also, It's if someone else on the team is using Warp, the GI gets that bonus as well.  The Incendiary DOT is universal for all characters who use warp and is better on the Valkyrie than the Huntress.

according to some on the BSN....the acolyte, reegar, and incendiary ammo MAKE EVERY class better.

That'd make it the exact opposite. If it were intentional they'd respond saying so. Since it isn't and they have to decide how they'll handle this, because I'm pretty sure they realize it'll take a whole patch and not just a balance update. Frankly, leaving us in the dark either way after days is kind of a crappy thing to do.
