Is it possible BW have made her TC this way intentionally?

Most of parts were copy & paste of code, so I see no reason why completely fine TC would not work on Huntress alone. BW did tough her TC when they gave her new power damage evolution, but I am not sure they are not that clumsy to touch weapon boost part unintentionally as they write the new programming.

Although the in-game description is misleading as it always has been, but I think it is possible BW made huntress`s TC this way.

After trying Huntress numerous times, I am convinced that she is too powerful even at current state.
Adding +80% weapon damage to this? BW made mistakes with Krysae & Typhoon, but even BW must see this one before coming.

Very likely its intentional-- but that means they derped the description in game. Still a bug. I dont think shes too powerful right now-- but adding 80% wpn dmg to my claymore on her would probably tip her over the OP edge.

I rightfully disagree.

Bioware so far has been so in consistent in releasing buggy characters. Much more likely they tripped and overlooked something major while changing the values to work for the evo 6 TC. Making the weapon damage part bugged and not working.
If it were unintentional they would've given the description in the TC power screen.
They would've came out with an offical statement on day one.
They would've used the correct evo 6 TC icon instead of using a wrong one.

I don't like to bring in other DPS monsters for comparsion. But if you think the GI / TGI doesn't have better tools than the huntress for staying alive and dealing out DPS from afar.
If you think a few GIs with proxy mine debuff stacks doesn't already tip over the op edge.
If you think those GIs couldn't equip warp rounds also and have teammates with warp.
If you think by choosing the huntress automatically yields you a shotgun rail III, and incendiary / warp IV in the match.
If you think everyone only likes to use op character, surely why use any other kits other than GI or TGI.

Then yes, you should be pulling your hair out about the huntress potentially being too op.

Finally got around to playing her tonight, and gotta say she was quite a bit of fun, and pretty powerful as-is. Though I did only play with Warp III and IV ammo on. Will be curious to see how she feels with some other ammo equipped.

Edited to add: Though that doesn't change my mind that Bioware really needs to tell us what happened with the character.  Whether it is bugged, intentional or whatever.  And whether or not it is fixable if it is bugged.

Not pulling any hair. I think the GI and TGI are OP as well. Will it bother me one way or the other what they do with her? Not really.

Also bump. If they dont acknowledge this in the balance change today the uproar will be amazing.

Honestly, I mainly want a response.  I don't mind the idea of a powers and melee TC, but I don't think that it makes a lot of sense with her kit. Cluster Grenades and Warp or Dark Channel would have been much better for her.  The Power boost alone, IMO, doesn't make much sense on powers that have low to zero burst damage.  Yes, DC does a lot of damage over an extremely long period of time.  But it can only do that to one target a time.

I don't think the Huntress is a bad character as she is, but I beleive that all of the other characters with Warp have better kits, as do the other Infiltrators.

It seems like BioWare has decided that ignoring problems is the optimal way of dealing with problems, for them, going forward.  They know these issues exist.  They know their game is bugged.  Yet they won't even extend the courtesy of telling us that they're looking into these serious problems with the game.

And then someone will make a thread like, "BioWare, what color is your office furniture?" and 5 of them will reply.  What a joke.

Would have been cool if they would have posted some feedback by now. I've been with BioWare, like many, since Neverwinter Nights. Back then they felt world class. But alas, the players had the freedom to mod the game didn't we and fix things....

I am trying to imagine what I would do if I was BioWare in this case. I suppose it would seem prudent to not say anything on the forums. If they popped in and said, "Yeah guys we fubared this class. Would take a Patch to fix. We have no idea when/if we will make another patch". Maybe they will get told off proper I dunno

We definitely need a response, I'm still fully on board with that.

I'm not sure I would say the other Warp users all have better kits.  But she still has that new-car-shiny thing going on as well, might change my mind after another week or two.

I was also running with all friends, and some pretty great synergy those matches.  Batguard, Shaman and a Geth Soldier with Flamer build.  Reapers were a laughable joke.  Warp boosted Dark Channel and Flamer melting armor like it was a stick of butter, and splosions everywhere from the Shaman and Batguard.

Give them time. Knowing bioware they have been running a broad series of tests behind the scenes for days now. And it seems their policy to not comment on it till the primary result are in. They will respond. They have seen the complaint threads.

I've... never seen anyone as persistent as you are. It's the exact same thing as a little kid crying until his mother notices him. It'll get acknowledge but it seems patience is overrated these days.

Not even close, it has been a week and still not even a single reply on the subject.
IMO, it is very rude and disrespectful to just shove it under the rug when many people want an answer.

meh, I'll keep bumping it until something happens. I'd hate for this to be ignored like some of the other bugs in the game. For example someone was saying ps3 crashes when they play against the collectors.

that's not BW's fault. The PS crashes when it's overloaded by certain colour displays. It was fixed by simply lowering the brightness. It's a hardware problem, not a programming one.

If it's working as intended, it's pretty simple to just say so. But if it's not, then they have to test it, and figure out how to fix it. If they can't fix it, then they can pass it off as "working as intended." So with the silence so far, I don't buy that it's working as intended.

You know, the players of this game are Bioware/EA customers right?  Customers who, in many cases, have paid multiple times for this game.  Initial purchase, plus maybe some pack purchases, plus you see more and more people who have picked it up for a second system as well.  We also give them data, through our time spent playing.  Data about microtransactions, the store, MP design, MP in a traditionally SP universe.  We are customers who spend two valuable resources (cash and time) on a product.

But yes, customers should wait until their corporate overlords deign to look upon them with passing favor and answer a basic question about whether or not part of the product was released broken.

Devs are finally responding in threads today after "hiding" all week.
Maybe, just maybe they will have the common courtesy to give us an answer today.
