The amount of time it will take to complete Omega will likely vary greatly from person to person, topic title is greatly misleading and is a patently false statement.

I'd strongly suggest changining it so that it isn't making false accusations.

I don´t think BW has ever made an exact and final statement on the playtime and even if, it always differs from player to player.

My playtime is at 0 hrs.

Only decent DLC out there will be from GearBox

Sorry BioWare you've been sucking it up as of late... ME1 still the best in the series

It is not misleading in the slightest. Leviathian (Doing absolutely everything, taking every dialogue option, no skipping) Took 2 hours. Omega (doing absolutely everything, all dialogue options, no skipping, including little side quests) took less. It was said the length was twice that of the largest DLC. Regardless of whether Leviathan is the largest or not, Omega would have to be at least twice as long for the stated length to not be a lie. It is not twice as long, therefore the stated length IS a lie.

Also, it IS an accusation. I was lied to in order to get me to buy this product, and even though I know its not going to happen, I want my money back.

Honestly, you should change the title of your topic to "Omega length was a lie... to me."

Then you can give your reasons how it was (which you did) and others can agree (which some have) or disagree (which some have).

Me, personally?  I felt Leviathan was a better DLC experience, but I finished that pretty quickly.  It felt much much shorter than Omega felt, which wasn't as strong as I had hoped, but still enjoyable.  It took me a little over 3 hours to complete on Insanity and I know, I kinda rushed through the last bit to finish it.  Leviathan I took my time, and I am pretty confident that I finished that DLC sub 2 hours.

Therefore, the Omega length was not a lie... to me.

All BSN has taught me is that I am a slow ass gamer. Both Levithan and Omega took me forever. [But I do play insanity, so maybe that'll save my street cred.]

What some may call "slow ass gamer," you can say "take my sweet ass time to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere gamer." ;)

It took me roughly 3-4 hours. I took my time in the battles. Not so bad. I enjoyed it.

I'm sorry, but it's crap like this that makes BSN the laughing stock of Western entertainment.

Yep bioware fans are seen as whiney and entitled

Watched my friend play it last night. It's definitely longer than Leviathan, I dunno what to tell you.

You people are saying 3-4 hours like that's acceptable for $15.

Gamble was at least stretching the truth on this one. Most people were completing Leviathan in 2-3 hours. So if what Gamble says is true, about Omega being twice as long, then the average person should be completing it around maybe 5-6 hours. That doesn't seem to be the case.

The whole "time it takes for different people varies" is such a cop out in my honest opinion. Technically it is true, but at the same time it's a loophole that allows you to say whatever you want about the length of the DLC, and if people call you out on it, you can just play innocent and say "Hey, it takes longer for some people."

There was nothing about this dlc that justified the extra $5 on it's price tag and i think Bioware should be ashamed. They're pricegouging their fans who've been pretty frustrated with the company this past year. It's obvious that a lot of our concerns are falling on deaf ears.

I enjoyed it a lot, thought it looked beautiful. Took my time looking at stuff and buttoned up Omega in about 4 hours (which was almost twice as long a Levy)

$15 was a lot for sure, but like I said, it was very cool.

It certainly isn't. I agree that the price tag is ridiculous.

It took me about 3,5 hours on Hardcore/Vanguard. But so did Leviathan...
I didn't rush through the levels and took my time to explore everything.

Hours shouldn't really relate to the price tag, IMO. The quality of whatever hours you put in should be the reason the amount is justified, which seems not the case for some.

Plus DLC hours varies from player to player, that's not hard to grasp.  Don't take everything Bioware states as truth, as I should of realized pre-release ME3, rofl.

Leviathan took me about 3 hours.
Omega took me just under 4 hours.
I played both on normal, and took my time to explore everything. For me, Omega wasn't twice as long, but it was certainly longer.

I easily spent 3 hours on Leviathan. Based on that and what Gamble said, I'd be needing around 5 to 6 hours to complete Omega. With this many people claiming that to be untrue, I for one will not be buying the Omega DLC.

http://twitter.com/G...532473718235136

it took me about 4 hours to finish lotsb.

about 3-4 hours to finish leviathan, on casual.

i was done with omega in 2 hours.
