I'm sorry, but it's crap like this that makes BSN the laughing stock of Western entertainment.
Yep bioware fans are seen as whiney and entitled
Wow. . of Western entertainment? That's flattering the BSN grossly. Nobody gives a damn about BSN. Very few even know about BSN except other whiny entitled nerds. And really, who cares what they think. Eff 'em.

Game length varies from player to players, as seen from this thread, most people took around 3-4 hours to complete. Personally I took about 4hours, maybe 10 or so of the minutes are just to look around the stunning environment of Omega.
Also to note, that this is little downtime in Omega. They also make 2 new character as squadmates, add new skills & enemies. The environment in Omega is vastly bigger than all the ones in Lev. combine.
Lev. took me about 2 hours & the time is inflated due to the few backtracking to the lab, & some planet scanning.
So the game may be overprice (or not), but to accuse of BW for lying that the DLC is shorter, just because you rush though, this is vastly a bad accusation.

If this is true, then the length of the DLC could vary widely from person to person, depending on their efficiency in combat.

If you account for the exploration of every nook and cranny that can be explored without breaking the game and all the side missions and replayability, you get DLC that is longer than Leviathan. you also get a weapon that is new to those of us that didn't pre-order our games at gamestop and haven't recieved it in a multiplayer commendations pack recently.
It's not worth $15, because we didn't get a new squadmate, armor, weapons, or a new feature like being able to call some of your war assets into battle from either the squad selection screen or some other method. if they had sewn the contents of the groundside resistance pack and the alternate appearence pack into it, it would have been well worth it's price, but they sold those too early. However, in their defense, prices are going up, our economy is in the toilet and we just voted the president that was the cause of it, so don't expect any cheap DLC coming any time soon.

If you enjoy a typical ME3 mission, I find it hard that you will not like Omega.
Only thing missing is it did not advance in story in any meaningful ways, but isn't most DLC sort of isolated, & self contain.
You do get the option for possibly the most powerful bonus skill in the series.

Guys are never truthful when it comes to length. It's a fact of life.
For a moment, I thought your 'length' was refering to something else. Silly me.

I liked the DLC. I would have liked it more if you got to use Omega as a hub like we did in LotSB but I really liked the addition of lash and some of the other gear. Where the IM came up with all these resources felt a tad lore breaking but it fit OK with the original story I guess.
I agree, maybe someone force their hand to release the DLC before December or someting. You never know.
I think they should at least pack some alternative custome for each DLC if they want to justify the price. Surely that wasn't so hard.

To be honest, LotSB took me about 2 hours, and cost 800 Microsoft Points, and Omega took me about 4 hours, and was only 1200 Microsoft Points. I'm not saying that Omega should have cost 1600 Microsoft points, but I'm grateful that it only cost 1200.

Yes, I was playing on Insanity, the Mars Missions are more difficult than this in terms of combat, and the story makes me cringe.
