Omega length was a lie.

Is not the same playing a DLC with a existing advanced Save Game(Prior Cerberus Base) or a New Game+.
When i got Leviathan and From Ashes i used a new import, and it was a hell to fight Brutes and Banshees at the beginning. and i had fun!
Everyone who have ended the game should know that any DLC would be shorter and easier than Priority: Earth, because is a Pre-Ending DLC. cant be harder than that, its obvious.
I see people complain about the DLC, i have no idea what were they expecting, since it was obvious it was gonna be like that, just another mission.

Stop misleading people. If you rush it it'll take you less time if take your time to do everything, hear all the conversations and play it in a harder diff. it'll take you 3hs at least.

My second play through on Normal (so I could just do a quick replay) took 2.5 hours.
Game play time is variable. Based on 'standard' difficulty settings, exploring everywhere and your personal skill at the game. Omega was certainly longer than Leviathan, which I blew through on Insanity in <2 hours.

Gamble said in an interview that Omega was twice as long as their longest DLC previously. Sorry, but that is completely wrong, seeing as Leviathan took me 2 hours, and Omega was actually SHORTER at 1hr 45 min. I bought the DLC expecting maybe 3 hours (since devs tend to overstate) but for it to actually be shorter than previous DLC while claiming it was twice as long is just rediculous.
Pulling stuff like this on consumers is a prime example of why people pirate. If you can't trust the marketing, and you can't get a refund when it is shown that they blatantly lied to you to get you to spend the money, what else are you supposed to do to protect yourself from being taken advantage of?
Edit: Since there seems to be some misunderstanding, I played both Leviathan and Omega on Normal difficulty doing ALL conversation options possible, quests possible, and finding all weapon and mod upgrades possible. I was definetely NOT speed running. If anything I was speed running my Leviathan time, since I used second playthrough Levi time due to game breaking ladder bugs the first time round.
This is my first post on the BSN, but i have been lurking for months. I just never bothered registerting my copy of ME3 until tonight, so I never could post. I hate for my first post to be in this nature.... but i think you are lying. I dont think you could have possibly done everything in 1 hour and 45 minutes without rushing. Are you sure you just don't secretly like being unhappy with Bioware so you wanted to call them out?
Again, I am sorry. I know I will probably get hate for this... but I had to break my silence here. You people all seem so negative. If you hate Bioware and them not treating the ME franchise the way you want them to.... why don't you just stop complaining and leave? This should be a place to discuss and have fun, right? Not try and start even more posts about how they dont care anymore, or are liars, or they don't care or so on. I hope this doesn't come across as an attack... but for real. If you're unhappy... go find stuff that actually does make you happy.

A pretty expensive mission if you ask me.

I seriously doubt most of the people "complaining" here hate Bioware. More like they hate seeing it fall so far from what it once was and wish it could throw off the shackles of EA and return to its former glory.
And that's probably true. I don't mean to be that blunt... I guess my point I was trying to make is that it just sort of comes across as so many people loving to just be overly cruel in advance for things they assume Bioware are thinking or planning. If they plan a DLC centered around something other than the one that the latest fake leak was about, people would get mad. And it all just seems like they just don't have anything happy to say anymore. You know? I just figured if it makes you that unhappy, then just stop thinking about. Do something else.
It sucks that ME is possibly going to be going in a less RPG direction. And I understand wanting to let Bioware know your fears and fans from the start, the core of their fanbase. And they say they are listening and that seemed to help for a couple weeks, but now people are looking for more evidence of it... They are untrustworthy in the eyes of the people because the topics talked about here most are:
More hubs, ME2/LI DLC, More squadmates because after ME2 we're spoiled and thus bored when we didn't have nearly as many in ME3, and... of course the endings. They adressed the endings, but it didn't seem like they tried a whole lot really. It helped for sure and that was a huge sign of faith... but since then they haven't adressed any of the strong issues people want. They want it to feel like an RPG.
All I was saying from the begining is... even though Omega and Leviathan didn't adress the issues the BSN is always buzzing about and that people really want.... do you think they would have been hated as much as they seem to be. I happen to think both of them are pretty good, even though neither of them are great, or address the things I also personally want.

Leviathan is only $8 with shorter gameplay, a better story and is far superior in my opinion.

This. So much ****ing this.
I don't hate Bioware, I ****ing adore the company, I've ****ing adored them since I got Dragon Age Origins as a gift and I have every single one of their games. Hence why it's so ****ing painful to see them do this and KNOW their better than this.

Normal difficulity means you can breeze through the combat quickly. I wont say "easily" if it offends certain people, but since Omega is so combat heavy(it is TOO combat heavy imo), of course an easier difficulity greatly shortens the length of the dlc.
Try it out on insanity. If you manage Omega in less then 2 hours on insanity, you'll do very very well. Took me between 3-4 hours to complete.
Was it worth the big pricetag? Im not sure. As mentioned, it was a bit too combat heavy and I wish there'd been more interesting plot twists. But I wouldnt call it short.
