Figured I'd do some matches against Collectors as I'm nearly done with the achievement. Also thought I'd use the new Huntress seen as I unlocked her recently.
So I start up and everything's going great, I started a game with just me but left it public because if anyone wants to join - fine.
Asari Valkyrie joins wave 5 or 6 and starts making a habit of generally being useless and going down 3 times or more every wave. Kind soul that I am I revive whenever I'm able.
Wave 10 arrives and it's 1,2,3,4 hack. I run for #1, cloak and get on with it. 5 seconds behind me is mister idiot. A Praetorian hovers through the door. What does idiot do? Idiot starts hacking the device as well. He doesn't use a rocket, or even engages it, no, he starts. hacking. the ****ing device with me.
Cue Abominations, a Possessed Abomination and a Scion, all bullrushing me. Managed to complete hack before Abomination started it's insta-hug, after that it was Collector spam time. Got to device 4 but the clock ran out.

And why did he insist on disabling devices when someone was already doing so?

He's a helpfull chap.

And why did he refuse to use rockets?

Maybe he didn't have any, maybe he doesn't like rockets? Who cares?

I do know why he only scored 9000 points in ten rounds. And i know we wiped.

Here's a thought. maybe the whole team was rubbish, and you're just trying to find a fall guy to blame. Or maybe it's just a game, it's suposed to be fun, and your taking it all a tad too seriously.

If you really do want to take it that seriously then ok. You failed.  One guy on your team was inexperienced, wasn't sure what to do, probably panicked. And YOU failed him. You didn't help him, and you all wiped.  Ashamed?

SMG challenge. Tempest is one of the less annoying guns to use.

Maybe he's a new player who 1) only has low level guns, 2) thinks 2 people disabling makes it go faster, 3) helpfully used his rockets in the waves before you joined.

I dont care if a pug is bad but when no rockets are used until AFTER WAVE 10 OBJECTIVE COMPLETE I will nerdrage.

I laugh about that now and then give them the boot when I hit the lobby. If personal goal (extraction for whatever reason) is put above the rest of the team even getting there, they are a bad teammate and someone I won't play two games in a row with. I had raged a bit about it in the past (won't lie or deny it), but now I just have to find it amusing that someone can be so selfish.

I didn't even realize kill stealing is an issue. I figured we all get the sum of all points earned, so why would anyone care? I know figuring out my Turian Havoc, I just attacked anything I could target without thinking about if anyone was shooting it.

I really do not care much... The only thing that annoys me is when one guy killing the rest of the team by shooting an abomination or by venting the reactor. Apart from that they can do what they want...

I met my worst teammate yesterday on Rio. Massive complainer through most of the match. Here's a choice exchange.

"Are you sure that's okay?" I say with an edge of annoyance.

I'm fairly sure I played with the same stiff a few months back, also on Rio complaining about people camping in the middle.

I also found a few older posts about him here on BSN, being named as a complainer. At least he's consistent.

Had 3 idiot friends on mics talking talking all kinds of racist things between them. One of them nerdrages at me for "kill-stealing" and complains about bad players who pug. Apparently I killed some mob across the map he was teleporting to with his slayer and it caused him to die. Just the combination of arrogance, low-score and open racism(calling phantoms n-bombs, etc) made this clown the worst I'd had.

Silver has horrible players lately in my experience. It used to be that Silver was where you could go to de-stress and chill and you'd often find tons of really high level people just messing around having fun. These days I think it's a stomping ground for people working on challenges with no regard for teamwork whatsoever.

My last Silvers were last weekend when I was leveling up sentinels. Had a match with a guy that refused to move from his sniping position up in the top of Dagger. I got on mic to tell the rest of the squad to come to the hack on wave 6 and the other two did (I think they were just new players), but not this guy who I assumed was working on his Javelin challenge. So I ended up delivering both packages on wave 3 and we three-manned both hacks in waves 6 and 10. Total jackass and he only topscored over me by a couple thousand points. I can't imagine how long it's going to take him to complete his challenges on Silver with that little skill and regard for his teammates.

Until that last line, I was sure this post was about me. 

Personally, the worst teammate I've ever had was some odd guy who kept playing My Little Pony bits from a toy of his daughter's into the mic. How irritating, right!?

Today on Collectors/Jade/Gold, I had a wave 10 hack at the LZ. Luckily, the enemy had spawned clustered at the far end of the map in the valley, so I'm thinking we get a full third of the way through the hack before we (read: I) needed to bug out and kite. But in one of the rare instances where consumable use is ill advised, a teammate saw the juicy point cluster and rocketed it, and everything then spawned split up on either side of us.

Both teammates proceeded to then die and bleed out within twenty seconds, leaving me to try to run some kite cycles out and into the hack. Failed for time with about 5% of the bar to go. Quite literally would have been feasible if even one of them wasn't playing, even after the bad rocket, if only because the bar would have filled faster.

well it could be worse. for example you can have a ****** engi in your team.
You warp mob's armor to shockwave it to hell in biotic explosion of awesomeness, you almost ready for shockwave and.... that stupid mofo using overload on your victim ruining your combo, not just once but all the way down until mob is dead.

So you know... sometimes it's better when they are not using their powers.
