Mages. Freedom, for better or worse.

Me too... I wish there were options to show that I feel bad about having to kill him. >.<

Templars, too many mages give in to Blood Magic. But I'd support if the Circle was more lenient with the mages.

A little of both: Mages need to be controlled but the Circles need a serious revamp.

....I say set the whole system on fire and build anew on top of the smoking ashes.

And I am talking about the Circle and Templars, not making some reference to the game series. :)

I would not side with Templars in the third game; but I definitely want mages contained. Maybe we are presented with some kind of middle way between the two.

Perhaps by the end of the war we aid in making the new laws and regulations among a council of your allies (assuming your side wins).

My "canon" playthroughs always are mages, so I'll be going with them again I'd say.
Not only are they the most fun to play for me, but I do sympathise with their plight.

Is there the option to remain neutral, assisting both factions of the conflict depending on the tasks that they ask you to complete, leaving me with the best trousers and moral standing?

If the answer is no: Is there the option to trick both factions into believing i'm their ally, assisting both of them with the tasks I wish to complete, leaving me with the best trousers and moral standing?

If the answer is no: Is there the option to infiltrate both factions and steal all of their shiny pants, then run to the hills? (This really should be an option)

Seriously though, it's a shades of grey conflict. There are going to be good and bad people on both sides of the war and I don't want to be chained to a psychopath. If I pick a side then there's always going to be at least one person telling me to do something horrible that I don't want to do, I want to have the option to assist the people with good intentions that are genuinely attempting to heal the rift between Templars and Mages.

- I want to choose what I do and who I do it for, regardless of their faction.

I always side with the Templars.

For the record, I dislike the Chantry but siding with the Templars is the lesser evil.

I'd prefer to be able to be in the middle, to fight for equal rights for all.

im hoping the option to not choose any of them 2 is there because basically i dont like either, but if i was forced to,which i believe i will be,then it will just depend on the story and the route of conversation i take on the playthrough of the game

It depends.

In Kirkwall, Templars. Seriously, every mage there was an evil blood mage.

Ferelden, the mages.

Ideally, I'd like a compromise. More freedom for the mages, but still have measures in place to prevent issues.

I'd honestly like to kill everyone and create an empire that everyone will all have to live by the same rule, or is that Anakin Skywalker? I forget sometimes.

Screw them both. I side with the Inquisition and Justinia's Chantry.

To think that there won't be mages that abuse their power is stupid, to believe that mages should be treated like vermin is monstrous.

We need a balanced system.

I would rather see both sides present their case in Dragon Age 3. There is no telling what either of them have resorted to.

Although my strong affinity for playing mages kind of made me choose them in the beginning.
