I know people often don't read the first pages of a forum. So I'm re-posting it:

Since saying, "neither, I wish we make everything better" is such a cop-out, I'd say mages.

How about "neither, I wish we could lock them all up in the Aeonar and let them kill each other off"? :D

I lol'd in DA2 when I chose the mages and Orsino went **** it and changed into a abomination, I was like you ****ing ******* I just had your back and you do this.

Don't worry, I'm sure someone will come up with an exuse explaining how that wasn't 'his' fault. But, then Meredith was no better having been corrupted by that random thing you found in the deep roads and how she just 'happened' to have it.

Lol.  Considering the insanity we saw in Kirkwall, sure why not.

Mages, but only to burn the chantry to the ground,. If the mages are Chantry loyalists, then they can burn as well.

When I originally beat DA2 on my first playthrough, I chose to stick with the mages. I think I'll be trying out the templar side this time. Will likely have that Scarlet Monastery vibe from World of Warcraft going on, which I miss. Maybe I'll get to whip some heathens - That oughta teach em'.

After reading Asunder, I was feeling 'WOOO MUST GO HELP MAGES NOW!' so I created a new DA2 game...but then I became annoyed at the mages and became pro-templar instead.  :?

I support aequitarian mages, and I support unbiased and fair templars like Evangeline...if there were any more like her haha

Hmm, choosing between a bunch of stereotyped crazy BLOOD MAGIC RAARGH RAARGH mages or a bunch of stereotyped jerkface STAB STAB STABBITY STAB JUSTICE templars?

Neither, thanks.

I always choose the side of the mages. Even my Cousland in DA:O didn't like the chantry and the templers :P

I choose mages of course :) My Hawke is an apostate and her choice is obvious. And my Warden (she is a human noble) has friends among mages (Wynne and Morrigan). So I'm with mages :)

I'm getting really tired of these debates *sighs*.
Don't get me wrong, I despise blood magic. The templars so have a point, but mages have been unfairly treated for hundreds of years. Tevinter was completley wrong, but that does not justify locking them up, and only pulling em' out during war. There are extremely annoying and evil mages (not Anders). And there are good templars like Evangaline, however that does not affect much because the system is not changing. Morality and personality affects little in the long run.

I can't say either way until I play the game. I remember before Skyrim came out there was a poll asking "Will you support the Stormcloaks or the Empire?" And 60% went Stormcloaks, 40% went Empire. Then after the game had been out for a few months the same question was asked again and the result was 65% Empire, 35% Stormcloaks. It'll be interesting to see how many people change their mind after playing DA3.
