He posted a lot of mistakes, I think he have to go back and edit it. But the reason he used warfighter was probably that was the best gear he had for the grenades.

He's the designer. They have the ability to unlock everything from their workstations and kits. This is how the demo upcoming DLC at shows anyway.

There's no reason to believe that they can unlock stuff for their personal accounts.

They can unlock and they do unlock. One of devs had Valiant X when there were only 6 or 7 operations.

their personal accounts are different. the demo ones (Bioware_DEvX) accounts are all unlocked but its not their personal ones. they actually work up their personal ones on their own

I just want to know if AP rounds actually work on the Acolyte but considering his other build choices I'm inclined to think it was just bad choosing on his end.

They don't use their own accounts for those, also the blog post itself states 'And before you ask: there aren’t any BioWare cheats. I had to complete the challenge fair and square just like you.'

It's also the only explanation for Warfighter Package II instead of Shock Trooper upgrade or Grenade Cap at any rank, on those wacky builds.

Was it their personal account or their dev account? Because I know that one of the devs that actually had his personal account linked to his profile didn't have more than the usual number of promotionals, but the dev accounts have everything at X.

Also, guys, take note that those are his experiences from his personal account... He might simply not even have grenade capacity gear

Well, then Warfighter II only adds one Stimpack to that build, so you could've  just picked something useful instead. Like an Operative Package. :P

Who says he used his own account? And even if he did, it doesn't state that he used the best he had, he is recommending the best setups.

It doesn't matter, he's giving builds to help solo. It isn't "Watch me solo with the only equipment I had" these are universal recommendations on helping people solo.

^^ Exactly, we should just assume he has access to everything. I would call him a 'virtual god' but unfortunately due to the mistakes in the article I cannot

Anyway, I am hoping this guy was only involved with the single player campaign mostly. That explains the numerous issues. I am assuming he is not actively a part of the MP team.

He's the Lead Combat Designer. Any questions?:wizard:

This all makes me feel sad.

I wonder if this is a test, a test to see how the community responds to a devs advice on solo'ing, and if we respond negatively (which it seems like we have) and rip into him (to an extent), they'll punish us further.

the acolyte gets a -50% damage to armor naturally. AP rounds will balance that out, but doens't let it pierce anyhting.

So in short it works on the damage it does to armor, but you cna't piece walls or a guardians shields or anything

I think it's a nice initiative ; execution isn't great but nice effort overall. But yeah, it looks like the author could have used some info from the BSN community before posting.

Yeah... I feel like they should have let us look this over or asked us for advice or some dumb **** like that, because he did make some perplexing decisions, as we've all noticed. The funniest for me is that he takes Warfighter gear on the TGI (solid choice), then he packs a shotgun (for TGI, this makes me say 'wut?'), then he makes the perplexing decision to take the rank 6 evo that gives you one extra power rather then AR damage (kinda makes sense if he isn't using ARs), and then he tops the madness off with specing out of the only possible power that would make the 'bonus power' evolution useful. It's definitely kinda funny.

But I actually think that this was his home account. Warfighter II obviously isn't on an account with maxed rares, so he might not even HAVE a Harrier, PPR, or Typhoon. Maybe Wraith is the only UR at a decent rank.

Not true, Acolyte does 100 percent damage to armor and health.

"Acolyte Pistol (Armor=100%, Barrier=500%, Shields=500%)"

Does this apply to all AoE weapons in the game such as the Striker Rifle, Falcon, Scorpion, etc?

BSN is full of trolls , haters, immaturity, and overall just bad posters. The fact a BW dev is getting flamed for a blocg post on his experiance going for the lone wolf banner is just a new low.

Yes. Just remember some weapons (geth plasma shotgun, kishcok harpoon gun, and some others) automatically negate 100% of armor, so using an armor mod or AP rounds is useless on those guns.

I wish it owuld be explained a little more on the screens. too many people waste consumables on things that they ahve no way of knowing and its not really fair to them

Well the majority of our criticism is accurate and not personal.  Hopefully it helps him do his Job better.

I'm glad the Dev's are making an effort to post gameplay related information, but this is well below any bar I would have set for insight.

This is a set of recommendations he's making to people, though, and the only thing people have really criticized is his build. It kind of deserves some criticism, though. Do you disagree?

His Ghost uses three guns, two of which are shotguns. That's pretty neat.

I deem them "better than we". They had wonky builds and they still got the challenge done. That's awesome.

Are the builds weird? Hell yeah they are. Do they make practical sense? Not really.

Did he still get Solo Mastery completed? Hell yeah. That deserves some proper recognition.
