And is the playerbase pretty skilled, or still going through the paces of bronze and silver, like we once all did?OperatingWookie wrote...
It's a small, but cozy group at the moment. It'll get bigger by Christmas.

Think the demo days, but with more skill. Some of them are from other platforms.

but yeah, apparently M$ sold more 360's (double?) than the Wii U sold during it's launch week.

You obviously didn't get the joke if you thought I was being a dick. Its a dig at the ME3 controls in general anyway, "A to do everything, spacebar to do everything".

Sorry, alot of people are being dicks about the new Wii U and I thought you were trying to take a jab at it. The joke was rather unclear to be fair though.8 Bears wrote...

I mostly play right on the controller. It's actually the whole reason I bought a Wii U and the game: to play ME3 while my kids or my wife used the TV. The controls are great, although for some reason they swapped the locations of the action/run/cover and melee buttons compared to the Xbox 360 controller. I end up punching the air when I mean to run away, or vaulting over cover instead of grabbing the guy on the other side...
There's no Retaliation on Wii U, which is a blessing and curse. It's actually pretty relaxing to not have to worry about Collectors, Dragoons, or Geth Bombers. And I haven't unlocked many characters or weapons yet, so I haven't missed the Retaliation ones. I DO miss the challenges, though. It's still fun to play for XP and Credits, but going for challenge points gives me a longer term goal in the Xbox version that just isn't there on Wii U.

I'm wondering the same thing.
It shows the score, current wave#, and has push to talk buttons.

There aren't very many Wii U players yet, but it's kind of fun to have a brand new platform. Feels like exploring the frontier. I've only played a little, but I'm currently ranked #49 in the world with my massive N7 rating (25). I was feeling pretty confident on Bronze with my level 15 Human Soldier and Avenger III, so I thought I'd try Silver. I'm sure I could do okay with that limited build in the average Xbox Silver PUG, but on Wii U, everyone's equipment sucks, so it's much more difficult.

The button map make sense for that controller, but with the PS3 and XBox versions using the same four button layout, it makes going back and forth tougher. I quit playing after a few matches because I got tired of punching the air.

Or, at player behest, it can show the actual game, and you can play without a TV. Basic stuff.UKStory135 wrote...
