there is a popular rumor that a patch will come out the same day RTO does which is tomorrow or in about 30 minutes depending on the time zone, but it may not be on xbl untill later who knows

You need to know what they did?
1.0.2.2b - Broke Ostagar Tower Quest to make it unpassable to ****** off our consumer base
1.0.2.3a - Revised break to make it happen only half the time per marketing
1.0.2.4b - Re-revised break fix to adjust ration of breakage to success of character thus far. Weak characters get the benefit of less breakage with the power gamer PCs taking a severe hit that won't be noticeable until at least 30 hours into gameplay
1.0.3.1b - Fixed Orzammar Paragon quest while adding break to Dalish quest.
1.0.3.2b - Marketing again requested a break to allow for a dlc tie-in forcing the dlc to be added to continue the main story line otherwise the game will be unwinnable.
1.0.4 - Cleaned up achievement bugs and forced a refresh starting all achievements over.
1.0.5.1b - Added stupid gloves that were left out and removed a couple of items to keep the customer base interested per marketing request.
1.1.1r - Made archdemon unkillable as a joke.

Actually looking at the page provided they do appear to be making progress to address people's concerns. It has been a while but patience will pay off folks.
