I'm on a pro-mage playthrough right now and pretty much send most harmless Apostates free. However, I'm on a rut when it comes to Emile. THis guy, quite frankly, is a retard. Anders himself states that he can't function in the real world. Should I send him back to the circle or let him go? I'm afraid if I let him go he'll take a demon's deal just to do some hanky panky with a desire demon.
Best Choice for Emile?

I always let him go. I mean yes he's a twit and if it were the circle in Ferelden I might be a little more torn. But sending an escaped mage back into the Kirkwall Circle with Meredith in charge...? It just seems a bit like tying meat around his neck and telling him to run through a pack of wolves.

I've let him go and sent him back, with or without getting his one night with the bar wench just to see multiple outcomes and their repercussions.
If you let him go, or give him his one night with (Nora? I forget the name) Dulci has a different dialogue about it in MotA, if you do it after the quest. I forget what she says if you send him back, it's been months since my last playthrough.

I'd feel better sending him away if he didn't act so retarded. Hell, when ANDERS says he can't function in the real world, that's saying something. The fact that he only gets 5 rivalry is saying a lot.
