Did MP ruin SP for anyone else?

The point is, I just don't think that I'd be able to start from the beginning of the campaign and play all the way until the end. Not when I can jump right into the action with my Asari Vanguard or Krogan Soldier. Does anyone else feel this way?

Though there are plenty of things I miss from MP in SP, but my Sheppard still feels properly powerful, especially my Vanguard one. Lag-less Novaguard is a thing of beauty.

This, they should add a "MP veteran" mode for SP.GallowsPole wrote...
Hehe. To me, SP is like ridiculously easy now.
And I agree with you OP, I miss some stuff like the Arc Grenades...

I missed my ops packs though, I play recklessly enough to the point where I usually use all 5 of mine before wave 10... so that took some getting used to

What throws me off is the lack of a kill-feed and score pop-up. I keep shooting things even after they are dead. Especially during those times where rag doll physics take over and make it look like an enemy is leaning behind cover, despite being dead.

I get what you mean, but in that specific instance, my Vanguard Shepard feels less powerful/fast/fun as my Asari and Krogan Vanguards. To me, this carries over to pretty much every class. My Sentinel Shepard feels weaker than my Valkyrie. My Engineer Shepard feels weaker than my QME. And so on. I'm not really sure why, truth be told. It's just that running around, blowing things up and killing people feels better with my various MP characters than with any of my Shepards, at least for me.

More often than not my squad mates would just die and I 'd just go around killing everything myself rather than wasting time trying to revive them =/
Haven't played Omega though. Have too much on my gaming plate at the moment, haven't even bought it yet.

Seriously? Has no one else noticed that he said Cluster Grenades are MP only?
To be honest, I've never played an Adept in the campaign. I started playing this series in ME2 and Adepts seemed kind of gimped in the higher difficulties in that game.

This throws me off as well, I could really use some combat text from multiplayer.

Totally the kill feed thing. I haven't played the SP in months and months, but when I did, I kept wondering to myself "is that guy dead? where's my killfeed?" Hilarious, glad to see someone else experienced the same thing.
Although I disagree about the Vanguard. I was excited to try SP Vanguard, as the MP was the first Vanguard experience I had. Didn't like how slow the SP version reacted to my commands. It was like being in molasses.
So yeah, OP, I haven't seriously considered playing Omega because I don't care for the way combat feels in SP. It's like the difference (for me anyway) between ME1 and ME3 SP combat.

That's fine, but the statement that you miss them because they were in MP but not SP is just invalid.Zetsuke wrote...

But yeah. SP is weird now.

I hate players like you. The ones that forego SP to just play MP. You're the reason why so many developers are adding MP to their games and thus cutting from resources and making SP worse.Alijah Green wrote...

I went back due to the extended cut. Everything was suddenly helluva lot easier. But I kept ignoring my teammates. Lack of killfeed annoying. Medi-gel reload cancel was gone.
