Bioware really need to add the additional stuff from MP to SP to make SP better, like the weapons and the powers to shepard.

If they did that I would start my entire game over as an adept for some SP Fury style action.

Also I wonder if the change they made to tech explosions also went to SP? I don't think it did that'd be cool. Hm.

They did add some of the new powers to the slot you can change. Though you have to pay for them they also have weapon packs that add some multiplayer guns as well as a few guns that aren't available in multiplayer.

SP is too easy. Insanity needs to be at least gold-platinum difficulty. Its too easy as is.

The MP didn't ruin the SP for me - the SP did that just fine on its own. After the sordid mess that was ME3 single player campaign (not the ending - the whole campaign) I can't imagine myself ever touching it again. The DLCs are not even worth looking up on youtube, and if not for the multiplayer, I'd uninstalled the game and shoved it in a dark corner a long time ago.

Infiltrator shepard is still pretty beefy, equip damage booster armor swap to blackwidow and enjoy the glorious massacre and girly screams of enemies.

But yeah i miss Krogan melee sentinel build aswell.

This. I miss the kill feed and Ops Survival Packs/Thermal Clip Packs, but they're not game-breaking.

I have 4 active playthroughs right now (Renegade Infiltrator & Vanguard, Paragon Engineer & Soldier) but my Soldier is the only one I'm playing really. The others don't feel as fun. I get into the RP aspect of it, and come on...Sheperd epitomizes the ideal soldier.

Shepard is 10x tougher than the Human Soldier, if it feels otherwise you're doing it wrong. I'm on my 3rd Soldier playthrough on Hardcore, doing an Insanity run after I finish this playthrough.

Multiplayer makes the SP campaign feel so easy.

The biggest thing I miss is having Grunt on my Squad. James? No. Just...no. Posted Image

I've noticed a change, too, I think.  I did the Omega DLC yesterday & today with my vanguard Shepard-- I almost never play vanguards in MP, though, because I learned to play one with the ability to freeze time to select powers/targets and consequently I've always felt insecure about my reaction time playing one in un-freezable MP.  But while I did get knocked out a couple times playing it, I found Omega suddenly felt *really* easy compared to a regular MP match.

Granted, I was just on normal difficulty, and granted I play MP at bronze ~90% of the time, but after a lot of MP, the single-player feels a lot easier.  But, ironically, more limiting at the same time because as someone else mentioned, in SP you're playing one class throughout-- no swapping your soldier in for engineer or sentinel between missions-- and because of a smaller assortment of weapons at lower levels (and the Acolyte as a charge-up weapon again-- oy-- I'd forgotten about that  :-P).  It *was* refreshing having more than 3 powers that I could use (holy crap, the pull & lash combo I tried out post-Omega is fun for long-range mook-murdering!), though.

All in all, I wouldn't say MP has ruined SP for me but it can certainly be a little jarring to go back, now, when new SP content lures me back from multiplayer.  Being locked in to just one set of powers-- even if it is a bigger set per character-- and having my equipment options curtailed feels like it'll be more challenging, but then the enemies show up and they seem lazy, weak, and under-staffed by comparison.  :)

I'm still good with both. While I mostly play MP, I still play the SP from time to time. I play the SP for the narrative experience, MP for the fun firefights. It's a pretty big difference for me.

Actually working on a third finish of the SP now in my spare time.

To OP: No, the endings ruined SP for me. Thankfully there is always MP (until they shut down the servers and turn off the lights)

Wait until you become a regular Gold/Platinum player.

Hardcore feels like a joke...the only reason I'm not playing on Insanity right now is because I imported this playthrough awhile ago on Hardcore, and I want to get it done quickly so I can start over and play on Insanity.

My Soldier is a beast, I love him. Rocks the Phaeston X with Extended Barrel and Armor Piercing mod, Scimitar X with the Shredder and Spare Ammo mods, Blood Pack Punisher X with ULM and Extended Clip mods, and Blood Pack Executioner X with ULM and Headshot Trauma mods. Roughly 140% cooldown.

- 4 ranks of Cryo Ammo, Squadmate evolution. Everything else is maxed.
- Incendiary Ammo, +20% health & armor damage, 30% additional ammunition, explosive burst evolution
- Disruptor Ammo, +15% health damage, +60% shield/barrier damage, 30% additional ammunition
- Concussive Shot...Incendiary CS is beastly vs Reapers and Cerberus, as is Disruptor CS against Geth. Explosions!!1!
- Adrenaline Rush, full defensive spec (fantastic OH SH!T button, instant reload)
- Fortification...20% dmg reduction, 20% additional power damage
- Frag Grenades...shield overload (I usually use Incendiary ammo, this way shields/barriers are cake)
- Combat Mastery...Influence & Duration, Headshots, Weapon Master
- Fitness, +65% health & shields, -15% shield recharge delay

I miss him so much when I play multiplayer. I would gladly give up every other multiplayer character if I could play him in the multiplayer. His powers, anyway. Preferably on a Krogan, though I might modify his spec a tiny bit then Posted Image

That won't happen until ME4 is released, methinks.

And its possible they could even keep some of the servers open then, however unlikely. The SP campaign of the ME franchise will never get old for me, though.

The sniper slow mode is the hard part for me. Just to follow up shots in real time and the slow mo actually causes me to miss cause I over compensate.

I can´t play Asari in SP - now i play MP.

I had to rebalance SP to get the challenge back, now its playable again. I play Vanguard then i simply think i am an Asari Vanguard - it works for me, well - sometimes.
Im changing the model of the fem shep now - i want an asari, then i can play as an asari in sp !

Damn, i love Asari Commandos.

Yeah, but in the sense that MP made SP combat feel boring and uninteresting. Agreed OP.

My Vanguard Shepard is desperately in need of Annihilation Field, Reave isn't good enough.

Getting Lash and Flare from Omega dlc is cool but I feel we should be able to build our Shepards powers now that we have so many bonus ones.

It feels so dull playing my Shep adept. All I have is boring standard powers. I say boring because in mp a character has several of what would be bonus powers. Like the Asari Justicar. I want to have lash and reave together.

Never Played Single player for ME3 so yeah

I hate players like you. The ones that forego SP to just play MP. You're the reason why so many developers are adding MP to their games and thus cutting from resources and making SP worse.

I hope the next mass effect game will have a coop campaign.

MP hasn't ruined SP for me for one simple reason

Nuthing brings me more joy then watching cerb troopers fight each other after I hit dominant on them.

Taking my time thou since this is my final playthrough in SP since Omega was the last dlc

I had dominate as my bonus power, but I dropped it in favor of fortification. It feels more appropriate from a RP standpoint (soldier), and I didn't like the cd. I prefer fast cds, as my playstyle utilizes AR/CS pretty much all the time.
