Another "first world problem" I have when playing SP is Shepard has too many powers. I have a hard time picking which ones to use since I'm used to having only three to use.

Another reason I like my SP Shepard. Leave on Fortification and an ammo power, hotkey AR, CS, and frags.

Simple Posted Image

EDIT: that's actually a huge reason why I don't enjoy power-centric SP playthroughs nearly as much.

Just emphasises how god mode Shepard is.

I know what you mean though, my current play through is with a Adept Shep. Singularity, stasis, warp, throw...and teammate powers? And easier enemies? I barely need to use my gun.

The only difficulty SP offered sometimes to my soldier was running out of ammo..

This is why I hope the next Mass Effect lets us choose our race.

this.

I never like doing Insanity on Mass Effect, because I ended up getting bored a few missions in.

But after playing Gold  MP, and learning all of the different combos that can take down enemies easier, I decided to try Insanity on this game.

EASY. AS. ******.

I never used Squadmates to their full potential before. Now that I am, I realize how much easier they make it.

Sounds like that would require alot more work, given that our protagonist has a voice.

Mass Effect 4 should take ap age out of L4D's book. Have about 5 or 6 smaller campaigns each comprising major events that lead up to the humans joining the council.

Playing as the Turians during the First Contact War, the Krogan during the Rachni Wars, the Salaraisn during the Krogan Rebellions, Protheans during their cycle, Quarians as they are exiled from Rannoch and Geth during the Mass Effect 1 playthrough under control of Sovereign and Saren (come on, we all want those two badass antagonists to reappear).

They could then bolt on a completely unconnected MP in which they can do all kinds of awesome ****. PvP would be a nice additive if th playerbase was big enough, and it gives the a good advance in able to rebalance powers for such a thing.

Apologies to the Asari lovers in advance, they didn't do much in terms of badass warring in the past so i couldn't think of a campaign.

Descy, Mark Meer provided the voiceover for the entire Vorcha race, Blasto, Cal Niftu aswell as numerous others. Voice-casting isn't that much of an issue... unless you're called Bethesda and use one voice for the entire town.

MP hasn't really ruined SP, but as many have said SP feels so incredibly easy after months of MP play. Things die so fast it's hilarious even on insanity.

Never Played Single player for ME3 so yeah

I hate players like you. The ones that forego SP to just play MP. You're the reason why so many developers are adding MP to their games and thus cutting from resources and making SP worse.

I hope the next mass effect game will have a coop campaign.

Just don't spoil the ending, k?

It would be cool to have a sort of ME Origins but seeing as how DA is only using human pc's now it's very doubtful.

I can't stop looking for the kill feed.

I feel you. The worst part is the Phantoms. When I knocked one of the Phantoms on its ass I immediately looked into the lower right to confirm the kill, since they have a habit of stealthing and picking themselves back up.

And yes, generally the game is pretty easy. It is kind of hard to balance the difficulty though - my first playthrough of the game, I was running around with a mattock and phalanx, compared to using the harrier and bloodpack punisher now. How do you make it challenging for both sets of gear? And for a level 30 vs a level 60 with +100% weapon damage?

One thing tougher in the SP is having to actually manage your ammo though. You can't just hit an ammo bucket every 10 seconds, so when you're using the harrier at longer distances you actually have to fire in bursts.

I carry javi and harrier on my infiltrater in SP with dominant as bonus+bonus ammo armor makes SP super ez. I hardly run out of ammo. Atleast the AI squadmates don't target the glowing enemy like some mp players do

Just finished Omega on Insanity, it was SO goddamn easy! I only died once, Dominate didn't work somehow and an assault trooper killed me while I were disarming a bomb, That's it!

Honestly transitioning between the two was very awkward. Very. I am used to being revived and i want to put a petition for kill feed in the SP. Feels really weird without it. ?The difficulty at insane feel so easy. Especially for sentinel. Playing through the whole campaign again feels sort of stupid. I don't want to do it.

DA origins didn't have voice actors for your regular lines though, only grunts and laughs.

I think the better solutions would be to let the player drop in and play as his squad mates like DA though and switch to them.

Then we could get our voice actors and our dose of krogan stomp party as well.

The only issue I tend to have is that after a session of SP I forget that the MP characters are squishy and you need to actually utilise cover, but that attitude typically only lasts as long as it takes for my shields to pop for the first time after a few seconds of sustained fire.

The MP had some benefits to my SP experience too; as all my SP Shepards started way back with the original game there were some classes I never picked because I didn't like their skill sets or weapon loadouts (and didn't give them a second thought in subsequent games), but having played the multiplayer I'm now going back and working through those classes.

I do miss the high explosive rounds from ME1, though; they used to be hilariously good fun when paired with the sniper rifle...

Not ruin, but made Insanity cake. MP just makes you learn so much that you didn't understand about the game and upon applying it in SP, the game is simple.

True story. Even Insanity feels like a Silver match, and having more than 2 powers makes it that much easier.

There's no killfeed in SP.
And my teamates are total noobs.
