I currently have all three games on the PC. I love this trilogy of games a alot that I was actaully wanting to buy the Trilogy set for my PS3 console (note, my only console) and play them from the comfort on my couch and on my HDTV. Yes I know I can easily plug my gaming rig to my TV and plug in a XB360 controller (I think), but I don't want to. My computer needs to stay where it's at.

I read back then that the PS3 version of ME3 has framerate issues like dropping to 18FPS in outside areas and now I'm reading about freezing because of explosions and this patch that got rid of saves. Does Mass Effect 2 have any of the same issues?

Please note that I have played many games on the PC with video cards that were not entirely adequate for them, so I'm used to games not being full 30-60FPS. I dealt with it and moved on. However, I'm just wondering if the performance of the PS3 versions of ME2 and 3 were any gamebreaking related as in completely non playable. Or are these issues very minor and people are nitpicky?

And please, keep the suggestions or replies civil without that CERTAIN issue. I just want to know about performance, if any of you have time!

Nah man, no issues with ps3 versions of ME2 and ME3 for me anyway some people have had some apparently but nothing for me. One thing though loading time for ME2 are a bit on the long side not too ridiculous but a bit irritating.

Overall I've played both games on PS3 and I have loved it all the way. Can't wait for the first one to come out on ps3

Played them all on 360, the PS3 framerate seems very close to that of 360. No issues on my end. Although on the PS3 version of ME2 I've had some lip-sync problems.
