I voted for Mass Effect 2 because it combined something none of the other games had: a movie-like feel to it, RPG, solid action mechanics and a way to actually beat the game, yet everyone dies at the same time.

BioShock doesn't belong on that list because it's literally a clone of System Shock and System Shock 2 which predate it (and I think are made by similar companies). I love BioShock, but it wasn't that original of a game, I didn't feel.

I love ME2, but with Half-Life 2, RDR, and Batman: AC on the list, it only came in at #4 for me. I voted for HL2.

Four incredible games indeed. HL2 was my favorite game for a lot of years, untill I played ME2. Red Dead though, didn't like it very much.

They should have Dragon Age Origins up there, then when it wins BioWare might finally realize that RPGs are better than the Shepard Shooting Gallery.

Out of those games, I'd vote WoW.

Nearly. I don't really like that list, but I was torn between Mass Effect 2 and Portal. I went for Portal in the end though.

Haven't gotten round to playing through Bioshock or Arkham City yet.

 I couldn't decide between Portal and ME2 (the best and most enjoyable game of the series for me, come at me ME2 haterz).
So, I voted for both.

No. Simply because in my opinion, it is not....even close. ME1, KotOR, NWN2, Gothic2, Warcraft 3, C&C Generals are games that imo would deserve it way more than ME2 to be on that list. Looking at the list, I'd probably vote for Portal, but the ones I listed before are all better than any game on that list - again, imo, of course.

Wow, that is a very odd mix of games. No Oblivion or Skyrim, Okami, Resident Evil 4, Fallout 3, MGS3: Snake Eater, GTA 3/VC/SA.
I voted Wii Sports as a protest vote. Who the hell is "Entertainment Weekly" anyway?

ME2 is a mediocre TPS with dumbed down RPG elements and a pulp nonsense story. If that makes it "game of the decade" then things don't bode well for the industry.

I had no idea what to pick for that at first, but I do know that I'd rather go for the original Mass Effect rather than the sequel.

So... I actually voted Wind Waker. I know, there are games on that list which are just amazing, but as a massive Zelda fan, Wind Waker was the one that moved me the most.
