Pedro I'd take TC to 4 for Duration. Makes objectives easier, and Rank 5 of Fitness I never really find use for.

I tend to steer away from duration on infiltrators because it is dangerous with heavy weapons (huge cooldown downtime when you spend time in cloak ) ...

But in this particular case it might not be such a big issue - she doesn't have any spammable power so the big cooldown downtime now and then might not be so terrible ...

Anyone done a sniper build with the huntress? Interested, as i was looking at maybe doing a 6/6/6//5/3 and a krysea rifle.

Yeah, 6/6/6/5/3 build with a BW. Good, but it really hurts due to the lack of cloak damage boosts to the weapon.

Seemed more effective with the Widow X... But it'll change when the cloak is fixed.

TC -> DC -> Shoot for mooks. I hate warp for those due to enemy dodging.

For bosses:
TC -> DC -> Shoot -> TC -> Warp -> BE/Shoot. Could just spam DC if someone else is detonating.

I can understand DC against mooks, but with Pierce and Expose, Warp is a must against bosses imo.

Good point. I normally alternate, but BEs are so much more tempting lol.

Until TC gets fixed, I'm running a 4/6/6/6/4 build with her. TC-->DC eats away a Ravager in 5 seconds without me touching it, then it jumps to the next guy if there' one close by. Bosses: TC-->DC-->Shoot your big DPS weapon (Wraith, Claymore, Piranha...etc works magic)--->Warp--->Shoot again.
No need to rinse and repeat, because once you finished this sequence, that boss will be gone.
(Careful with floating Praetorians).

But as mentioned above, once the TC gets fixed, she'll start to shine like nobody's business.

Edit: Check out xcal's gameplay with her, he uses the same build as I do. Pretty effective, even with the gimped TC.

If you plan to use powers, why not max out cloak and take the power damage evo at rank 6?

because for the 2 cloak evos you are only getting a very small additive 25% power damage bonus (along with either a redundant cloak recharge speed boost or melee boost which i have zero use for). this is a VERY small damage boost. it should be a multiplicative bonus instead of additive. your 2 upgrades are better off spent elsewhere.

Fair enough. I would probably spec her 46664 too, or 60666.

i have respec'd her 5 times now LOL!!
right now I have her at
4/4/6/6/6

on passives i went full weapon damage
full health
I use a harrier -cloak,warp,shoot...repeat
occasionally use dark channel
once weapon damage is fixed, she will melt stuff very fast
i might go back to 6/0/6/6/6 FULL WEAPON DAMAGE
you just dont get much out of the power trees as both powers are low damage

I tried 66644 spec'd for power damage. Took a long time to find a groove as you cant just spam biotics and expect a decent score. Ended up using either geth smg or light pistols and cool down over 180. I found it unproductive to always cloak and started getting better scores after throwing dc or warp then firing weapon without cloak for mook headshots. For a cluster of mooks dc one then shoot it and follow the jumping dc around until you can warp for BE.

Dc is really useful for its un-dodgeable stagger. However whenever I saw a boss farther away then cloak, dc and ignore for awhile using warp/weapon locally while the dc takes em down. Did that to a banchee that got off a few jumps then didn't get much farther. Seems I got a lot of kills using dc, especially if using a power amplifier. Even if someone else is firing I could sometimes get the dc kill anyway. So any boss gets cloak, dc and if close also weapon, cloak, warp BE, weapon. She was pretty fun one I got the hang of her and could mostly keep up with the aggressive vanguards and grenade spammers.

Play as a support infiltrator AND adept.

Take a light sniper rifle then cloak, cast, snipe cycle at long range.
Take a ULM SMG (pistol might work, but SMG ULM is better) then DC and warp for BEs, when fighting at close to medium range.

Duration cloak to work objectives, reviving and running away. Everything else is for boosting DC damage.

I swear, the answer to everything is drop "insert power here", and equip a shotgun. I dont get why people even bother playing anything other than a soldier.

I agree... There is more than one way to make a build besides just using a big weapon... Image IPB

In my opinion, weapon is a follow up for this playstyle.

I went full duration cloak, with bonus power. Primed with dc while cloaked, detonated with warp while cloaked, shoot (with honestly any weapon). Cloak comes back up quickly, repeat.

Topped every gold in points I did yesterday doing this. It's a slow and relaxed play style, but I managed to outscore even the point whoring spazzes running around the map at full speed.

I snipe with the Caniflex, decent damage increased power cooldown.  DC, head-shot, next target staggers, head shot, repeat

I tried her out with a bunch of weapons: wraith, collector sniper rifle, black widow and claymore.
The build was 46664. I would cloak use DC fire my weapon while cloak cooled down then cloak and warp for a BE if there were any targets that still had DC on. Had the most sucess with the claymore. If cloak were effecting weapon damage she would be awesome. As it is she takes longer than other infiltrators (except the shadow) with bosses.

Currently i am using 6/6/6/4/4 build and really loving it.

The way i spec it would be:
Tactical Cloak:Damage, Recharge Speed, Power Damage
Dark Channel: Damage, Slow, Pierce
Warp: Detonate, Expose, Pierce
Asari Huntress: Damage & Capacity
Fitness: Durability
Gear: Assault Rifle Amp
Guns: Harrier, Acolyte

She is an infiltrator first and adept second, so i think she should be based around weapon damage, but still maintain great powers.

So, always use TC for increased weapon damage. For smaller enemies, use mostly DC and headshot them with Harrier. For bosses, DC + Warp for debuff.

It is nothing new, a lot of you guys already mentioned something similar. The gameflow with this build is very smooth for me. Asari Huntress is becoming one of my favorite characters, even while she has a bugged TC.

I play her as a utility biotic, choosing duration and bonus power for the cloak. She can cast DC and not uncloak until she casts warp, if you cast warp soon after DC.

It's been two days and you can't solo Platinum without any mods or gear with the new character even though TC is bugged? Scrub.

TC doesn't give bonus weapon damage on the huntress.  It's bugged, much like the Vorcha's submission net was.

3/6/6/6/5 ?

Cloak is pretty useless on this char (1-3 point wonder at most) ..

(power damage from cloak is pretty useless - DC cancels on recast (not spamable) , warp does negligible damage) ... .

So max Warp (debuff bosses // abuse with incendiary ); Dark Channel (cast once in a blue moon -frees cooldown for warp; opens up rank 6+6 BEs) ; and passive for maximum weapon damage (again power damage pretty useless on this char ) ... Spend rest on almost maxing fitness (pretty fragile char anyway)

Use a high burst DPS weapon capable of mid-range fighting like the Claymore.. She is not durable enough for CQC ..

If she feels weak to you - add incendiary ammo ...

this is my build, does warp really do negligable damage? cripples banshees in seconds
http://narida.pytalh...daptiveWarAmp5/
also use warp ammo

use dc, then use tc and warp and empty the smg with warp ammo into their face. boss dead!
